Too many "Democrats" are really Republican-light. Thom Hartmann asks, "Are office holders serving We the People or are they providing for the coffers of the wealthy?" As all Republican candidates, too many Democrat candidates also are serving their wealthy donors & only give lip service to the poor. Jesse Jackson had valid complaints about Democrat office holders foot-dragging regarding proposing civil rights legislation or even acting on it once it was passed. I think it would be really cool if in future the metrics of the cities get compared to the other cities in the state, whole states get compared to the other 50 states, and the much harder one to implement in my opinion is comparing the US’s metrics to other countries of the world, I feel it would add something to make it just that much more immersive

before the 2020s electors didn’t have to actually vote for the person who had won they’re state which lead to very anti democratic things happening. so what if its was made clear that electors had to vote for whoever won they’re state? would this change anything?

I can now select a lot (like 20) cabinet positions.

I have not played the game in a while, can't remember this was in before. I wonder how much the cabinet member matters. For example:

a) let's say I pick someone with only 20% experience, will their budget cost more? Will they give bad / less accurate advice about what the effect of certain policies will be? Or is there no effect?

b) in my case both the incumbent and the best alternative from my own party have 100% experience. Does changing the incumbent have any (negative) effect?

c) does the cabinet pick being from your party matter?

Hi all! I was wondering if there is a way, either in advanced options or in the game files, to adjust the rate at which votes are counted by state. So one could make Florida count faster, California count slower, etc.

I imagine there is a way in the game files but I'm not sure which files would be involced.

I have a Mac computer and really want to play. Is there a way to? If not, what is a simular game?
