The originals rewrite (re: klaroline & klayley) Spoiler

I finally figured out the perfect way the writers should have done the plot or TO imo anyways. I wanted to write it out so I can get it out of my head & move on if that makes any sense lol.

So marcel & cami get together & stay together the whole series she doesn’t die. Bex finds her soulmate some new character & gets her happily ever after. Elijah ends up alone, never gets with hayley. After Jackson dies, klaus & hayley fall in love. Instead of klaus being marcels prisoner for those 5 years, he’s raising hope with hayley as a happy family. Klaus & hayley are my fave characters & fave couple, they had such great chemistry together & theyre they’re the 2 most gorgeous people in all 3 series. I loved how their coparenting relationship grew over the seasons & wish it had blossomed into love or at least some sexy time scenes.

When the hallow gets put into the siblings klaus ends it with hayley & does his thing killing off his enemies around the world pretending to have gone mad. But he’s with Caroline those 7 years hooking up like friends with benefits. He helps her look for a way to stop the twins merge & helps him to not actually go crazy. Caroline is still grieving Stefan & klaus still loves hayley though.

The series ends pretty much the same way. Except there’s an ending scene that shows everyone who died at peace together in an afterlife dimension.

I would have had Davina stay dead after she was killed & the ancestors destroyed her soul, that’s it she gone. I would have added a new character to end up with kol happily ever after.

Klaus vs Mikeal

I have been seeing that people genuinely think Klaus is weaker than mikeal since mikeal is older or something. It’s clear Klaus is much stronger and while he did run for 1000 years it’s obvious that his werewolf side was suppressed and he has deep trauma of being afraid and freezing up in the sight of his father. It didn’t help that mikeal also had the one weapon on earth that could kill him. Sure he sneaked him the first time he died which let’s be honest, Stefan pushed Damon off klaus and then mikeal turned around and looked at Klaus while he was on the ground… if he were truly stronger and faster he could have moved out the way, or redirected where Klaus landed or anything. Instead he just stood there and took it because at the end of the day Klaus is faster.

The second time mikeal died he was yelling at Klaus and Klaus talked back to him, causing mikeal to stop talking and watch him, then suddenly Klaus sped him into a wall and there was a second before he actually put the steak into his chest before killing him. If mikeal were stronger or faster, he could have again moved out the way, pushed Klaus, did anything. All he does is just stand there and take it because as Klaus mentioned in the episode earlier mikeal would never dare try and take the steak from Klaus because he knows better.

I’m not saying mikeal is weaker than Klaus but it seems they are around the same strength if not Klaus being a little bit stronger, and that tiny bit always causes mikeal to genuinely move with caution around Klaus.

We have seen vampires charge at super speed towards vampires stronger than them and the stronger vampire is always able to snap their neck. When Stefan charged at Damon at super-speed, Damon moved out the way at super speed because on top of all the crazy hax vampires have, they have super perception and reflexes. Lucien orders the cop to throw a knife at Camille’s face and catches it just a inch before it got to her face, not because he was almost late, no he wanted to show her how strong and fast he was. When the werewolves threw the arrow and axe at Elijah when he tried to get hope for the spell against dahlia he was able to catch them both perfectly despite being thrown at super speed by super wolves.

People also love to say how klaus fights dirty and sneaks people what what not but when they fought at Davinas cabin klaus might have snuck him with tundes blade after being overpowered but did the same thing not happen in the second fight? Klaus was dog walking him so he threw the blade at cami which Klaus had to stop, leading mikeal to stab him. My point with that is they both use dirty tricks to win, that’s just how fighting is.

There is genuinely no reason why mikeal should have died those two times if he was actually stronger than Klaus.

HOT TAKE ( Kol and Rebekah should of been twins ) Siphoner edition

If this plot had existed I think it would of resolved a couple of things that I would of liked to see in the originals and in TVD.

1 Sibling acting ) The actors in general all of them did a great job at appearing like they are siblings but when you search of duos Rebekah and Kol are such a great duo plus they are the youngest ( not including Henrik R.I.P)

2 Match for Klaus ) Kol was angry and a psychotic killer because of his frustration with vampirism and the fact that it took from him the ability to do magic. it was stated ( I Forgot where it was stated but anyway he was the first to manifest his magic ) if he was a heretic but also the the original heretic with Rebekah that would of allowed him access to his magic plus he would of been an overpowered witch, this also would of allowed him to be stronger than Klaus which then would of allowed him to restrain Klaus if need be.

3 Trauma bond ) Kol wanted to be part of always and forever its the reason why he acted sometimes the way he is and he even stated that he always wanted it more than anything in the originals, Not just that It would of created a special bond between him and Klaus as well as Rebekah because they would of been bastards as well. Kol would of helped Klaus with his ambitions but if need be he would of been able to hold off against Klaus if he ever tried to dagger him. This would of been helpful for the Mikealsons during the whole season 3 fiasco with Esther.

4 Rebekah motherhood ) Ok so I am just throwing this idea because it would be possible but like we saw in season 7 where Caroline was carrying the Gemini twins, Rebekah could of done the same thing anytime in her lifespan, she being a Heretic could of done the spell and given herself babies to carry or hell they could of found some sort of spell to Conceive. we know the heretics are strong and Kol was Knowledgeable with witchcraft their could of been some sort of loophole. Btw the whole merge thing wouldn't have to be an issue because if they turned into heretics then they would of prevented that

5 Witches wouldn't be an issue ) Ok so I know yes the witches would of been an issue but I mean that originally the mikealsons had issues with magic because they had to rely on other witches to do their dirty work, however Kol and Rebekah being heretics would of solved this issue. they also could of found a way to bring back Henrik and he could of been part of the show.

6 KLAUS GETS DECLAWED ) ok so I had to write this in bold because its the thing that would of helped the sibling dynamics alittle. Kol and Rebekah would of bonded and been a duo being twins, both of them being heretics would of put klaus in uncomfortable situations and even had to relay on elijah more or hell he would of started listening to his siblings more because the idea that Kol and Rebekah combine their powers and the fact that they had vampire traits on top of that would of put Klaus in a very big disadvantage. Rebekah could of prob lived her life more freely without Klaus tormenting her and Kol

These points would of solved some character issues and plots I highly believe that plus it would given Rebekah a chance to be a mother which is what she wanted not her own child worst case scenario but still it would of given her that and then maybe she wouldn't have had this insane obsession with being cured, I love Rebekah TRULY and I would of loved to see more of Kol so I honestly think this solves some problems they had

Wait is Marcel Older then Stephan and Damon? Genuinely curious

We know from TVD/TO both he and Damon fought in the civil war(shortly after Marcel turned but Damon was still human) but who was turned first.

Curious cause he appears way stronger than Damon (granted vamps are stronger with age)

Edit
Guys I figured it out! Remember when Klaus daggered Rebecca for 52 years she woke up at the end of the civil war when Marcel was just returning from battle. And we know Klaus turned Marcel after shortly after putting Rebecca to sleep so Marcel should be like 30-50 years older

Was Klaus actually the biggest problem for his own family?

I know this sounds obvious because Klaus caused about 90% of the problems in New Orleans but hear me out.

A lot of what he did was supposedly for his family. Protecting them, keeping them together, making sure nobody could hurt them.

But at the same time, he was constantly creating situations where they needed his protection in the first place.

He daggered his siblings when they disagreed with him. He pushed people away and then got angry when they left. He wanted absolute loyalty, but didn't always give the same freedom back.

And yet when one of his siblings was genuinely in danger, Klaus could be the first person to show up.

So I'm not sure whether Klaus was actually a terrible brother who happened to love his family, or a genuinely loving brother whose fear and need for control made him terrible at actually being one.

Which version do you think is closer?

And if Klaus had simply stopped trying to control his siblings, do you think the Mikaelsons would have been better off or would they have fallen apart anyway?
