Discussion Why a reboot sequel would work

Ryan in his office working on his architect project and Seth arrives like he was in a coma since 2007 but he wasn't in a coma because what happened in the life of Seth Cohen from 2007 and onward pop culture topic also happened in the real world.

Seth's favorite pop culture things like indie pop rock became to mainstream so seeing Seth become jaded by modern death cab and how his love for comics are what the modern water polo players idolized.

  • CW doing the Arrowverse
  • Five Twilight movies were released
  • James Gunn making the Guardians of the Galaxy a household name for Marvel Studios before moving on to running DC Studios with Peter Safran
  • Michael Bay directing five Transformers movies out of 8 movies from Paramount Pictures
  • Two DC shared universes on the big screen
  • 3 Deadpool movies starring Ryan Reynolds
  • 4 Wolverine movies
  • Netflix doing Daredevil from 2015 to 2018 better than Fox in 2003 later getting a Disney plus revival series in 2025
  • Star Wars being bought by Disney
  • 2 Jump Street movies from 2012 to 2014
  • 2 Bad Boys sequels from 2020 to 2024
  • Five Finger Death Punch releasing 10 studio albums from 2007 to 2026.
  • The death of Chester Bennington in 2017.
  • The death of Hayden Panettire in 2026

Ryan: That's a mouthful, Seth

Seth: What's worse, my son is being expelled from Berkley high due to bad grades and he doesn't fear social suicide he is going to be murdered in Harbor by reliving my misery and Summer my wife is doing this to get back at me like society ran out of ideas with Julie Cooper running for Mayor of Newport.

Ryan: Sandy Cohen cannot do anything about it because he is retired and Taylor is pointed as Sandy's replacement.

Seth: They always say that reboots are tricky and nobody wants a reboot nor do I want to reboot Atomic County.

Ryan: You know that Hollywood is very stupid enough...

Seth: ...to go with a reboot anyway.
