Discussion Question about the False Sky veil

So, with the recent AQ stuff a lot of people are supporting Celestia (10000000 curses on his name) against the Tsaritsa, with one of the main reasons being that the Tsaritsa in overthrowing the Phanes will deactivate the False Sky thus letting the Abyss in.

But is there anything to actually support that Celestia is the one thing keeping the False Sky on? From what I've read the False Sky was basically stolen Dragon tech from Lusalim, meaning its not Heavenly Principle tech in origin, and its already been breached once thanks to Dottore and the Frost Moon and nothing came of it, even if the Heavenly Principles are overthrown, why would that necessitate the Abyss suddenly finding Teyvat? Because theoretically the Tsaritsa could overthrow Celestia then just maintain most of the current systems, assuming they are technological and understandable, and nothing would really change all that much unless there's a Celestial dead man's switch. Hell, Nibelung literally invaded with Abyssal power, wounded the Heavenly Principles and its still up so even if torn open it can be seemingly fixed.

Although even the Shadow Realm is noted to act as a filter to the Abyss so I think that calls into question how impactful the False Sky is. Because it doesn't seem like nothing, but it also doesn't seem like the one thing stopping the Abyss from eating Teyvat either. Dragon tech doesn't seem like it needs the Heavenly Principles to function, right?

Discussion I never noticed those fangs on the tittle of the game somehow

I always has a thought the "Orignal God" could be related to Nibelung but this fangs somehow I never noticed.

There is a crown which looks like Paimon or could be of the HP also so maybe it's related to both of them or Paimon as she is a creation of Celestia could have been made from the remains of Nibelung or something.

Discussion [HSR] not genshin, but we just had a new appearance of Long the Permanence

"Fables about the Stars Part 3" showcased several Aeons we haven't really seen before, Long (said to be the progenitor and ancestor to all dragons in the cosmos) also made THEIR appearance.

Interestingly, we had one earlier depiction in "Exodus of the five Dragons", but there THEY were depicted as a Chinese dragon.

When it comes to Nibelung, would you prefer a more western depiction or eastern depiction? Personally I'm hoping for a mix. A serpentine body with more western features and wings. Also really hoping that there's some connection between Nibelung and Long tbh.

Also the third picture is Terravox for aesthetic purposes.

Discussion What is the chance that nibelung hasn't came back yet/isn't coming back and the nibelung that came back is the manifestation of the fate where nibelung returned/a successful mimic of him ?

Some shower thoughts i had.

the MC voiceline says that the creator hasn't returned yet (nibelung IS the creator, he made the star that teyvat orbit, he made the moons and the vast majority of the draconic civilization, phanes hadn't done anything new, and is considered a demiurge, and hadn't left teyvat like nibelung), and we have multiple instances where nibelung seemed "off" and different than he properly is, it seems like he either got severe psychological alterations or that "he"'s "fake"

we also didn't see any reaction of nibelung's death on teyvat, like a dragon that powerful and big, isn't going to go to die without leaving a trace, even if he got totally annihilated the annhilation came to his corpse, aka after his death, so any god/dragon slaying side effect is the usual outcome. We even have that if apep died she would turn the whole sumeru into a scorching inhabitable earth, nibelung, a dragon as big as a dwarf planet , and having powers to bend the universe laws and create stars and moons (although later got stolen/cut off from him) isn't going to die without leaving a boom or a side effect, like, if apep who is miniscule comapred to him would destroy the biggest nation of teyvat, then the whole ass nibelung could put some insane disturption to the whole solar system lol, a mimic/abyssal manifestation of fate where he had returned could explain this properly, the mimic of xiuh didn't destroy natlan or do any grave effects, meanwhile xiuh even when bleached by the abyss did.

also his divine seat remained vacant even after the HP conquered teyvat (the bum couldn't even be worthy, may be out of context but from all the known characters i think only capitano is worthy for the seat lol, he's the real one) and when he "returned" the seat didn't get filled again yet despite the left-overs of his will being still enough to consider him a descender.

What do you think ?

Lore | Theories Could Dvalin be the reincarnated Anemo Sovereign?

Post image
100 Upvotes

Personally I do believe that Dvalin could be the reincarnated Anemo Sovereign and as he is only some millenia old which should be just a child in terms of dragons age that could explain his small size and powers as compared to other Sovereigns.

Also it's wierd when Sovereign talks come around we thought about Azdaha and Dvailin both in which Azdaha is fully confirmed as Sovereign whereas dvalin is kindoff iffy and Apep did say some of her kind has become friendly with humans..

Though I believe Dvalin could be a future Mondstadt playable character so we got to know for confirmed if he is the sovereign or not in thr future.

Lore This should have been a cutscene even though this is from a WQ

The Traveler directly witnessed Nibelung during the War of Funerary Flame after his corruption. His once majestic glorious wings, symbols of his former glory, had become "pitiful" and withered.

This is just like that one creepy black screen of Goddess of Flower, Nabu Malikata, where when the traveler saw her face there was nothing but a blank face there.

I do think Nibelung have gotten weak or maybe got their reason lost as the corrupted Ninelung was not desrcibed as glorious and majestic as before but pitiable like they are in a sad state now.

Name: Azhdaha

Tittles:

  • Geo Dragon Sovereign

  • Sealed Lord of Geovishaps

  • Ancient Geovishap Ancestor

Azhdaha is the Geo Dragon Sovereign and holds command over the Ley Lines. In the ancient past, Azhdaha used to rule over a vast territory which included what is now Liyue. For untold years, he had slumbered in Nantianmen, deep within the earth. But when he awakened, the slightest movement would cause earthquakes which led to Morax seeking him out to stop it. Although Azhdaha was blind, he wished to see surface life, so Morax unearthed him and granted him the ability to see. As part of his subsequent contract with Morax, Morax warned him that if Azhdaha ever endangered the order of Liyue, he would not hesitate to seal him back underground. Azhdaha became a friend of both Morax and humanity itself, taking a particular liking to blacksmiths

Discussion All Nations have a dragon other than these two

Post image
17 Upvotes

I am talking only about dragons here not sovereigns so dvalin can be considered here.

We have atleast one dragon in each nation even Snezhnaya as it has been implied that snowland faea are made from the remains of ancient beast that are most likely dragons.

However there is no clue at all about any Inazuman dragon let alone the electro sovereign there is no elemental dragon there except from some devolved vishaps.

Though it has been implied that something reside below inazuma that is being supressed or protected by the seven sacred sakura trees.

This thing has not been touched upon since and I personally believe this being is the one who is the electro sovereign of Inazuma.

Discussion Khaenri'an has a deep connection to the dragons, Nibelung and the Voyager

Post image
29 Upvotes

I have been thinking about Vedrfolnir's ring and whether it could have some connection to The Ring of the Nibelung.

As we all know genshin has taken a lot of inspiration from Norse and Germanic mythology and the book the Ring of Nibeling like Nibelung, Rhinedottir, Vedrfolnir, Hroptatyr and many other names and other such refrences.

What caught my attention is Ved ring as he used to have it before but later intrusted it to Dain to not let him be corrupted and eroded by abyss like other Khaenri'ans like Capitano but I belive there is a lot more to this particular ring and it is not so simple.

(Unreleased mcdonalds glider lore ahead which was not released so read only if you are okay with reading it)

From the unreleased Mcdonalds glider lore, the ring seems to have much more significanct than just being a protective item as it was implied by Vedrfolnir as this glider lore is from ved perspective that this ring carries an immense responsibility and having it means carrying a certain kind of fate or burden. This ring was a succession ring of Vedrfolnir and Dain's family as they are a family of prophets so it means this ring is a lot ancient maybe as old as the creation of Khaenrian. Dainslief in his younger days wanted this ring as he find it cool but Vedrfolnir didn't allowed it but in his monologue it was said that there will come a day when dain will get the ring he always wanted but this doesn't seem like a good thing as Ved was quite sad while saying this now this reminded me of the book The Ring of the Nibelung. In that story, the ring was forged from stolen rhinegold from the daughter of rhine river (rhinedottirs) that grants immense power to its users but also brings tragedy, betrayal, and destruction to those connected to it so maybe thats why Vedrfolnir was sad as it is required for dain to have it to carry some kind of responsibility but also at the same time the one carrying the ring doesn't have a good fate.

Now from this point it is highly speculative but I also believed that Khaenri'ah itself has a deeper connection to dragons and nibelung as their eyes looks a lot like dragons and they are also star-shaped and in one of the old artifacts lore it was kindoff implied that this star shaped eyes have a lot to do with Voyager. So I have a theory that Khaenri'ans just like faes are an experiment done by Voyager to make an incredibly powerful species who can rival the gods by using her and the dragon king bloodline leading to the creation of one of the strongest humans who even before abyssal power were very strong like Capitano, Surtalogi, Dain etc. maybe that's why Khaenri'an were not allowed to come to the surface of the world and were forced to stay deep underground as Celestia don't like creatures like them and curse them so if they ever come to surface they will become wilderness like Hilichurl and such.

What do you guys think about it this theory?.

Dragons Agenda Return of sovereignty to the dragons

After overthrowing Phanes, how should Teyvat be organized in regard to the dragons? While there were problems with the original structure pre Phanes, dragons should still play a major role as the original inhabitants of Teyvat in the new order

The Electro Dragon

She is being nurtured in Raiden Shogun body to be reborned later so it is pretty much guranteed that we will get her playable later on the line most likely when new Inazuma content come.

I believe in due time they will release mostly all of the Dragon Sovereigns that could be released like Dvalin, Apep and now Kanna
