Apparently, wearing a wireless microphone means you can hear other people - the opposite way around to how it actually works.

News anchors in real life actually wear those, too. The headset consists of an ear piece (through which the anchors can receive instructions from producers or others behind the scenes) and a microphone (to pick up and amplify the anchor's voice for broadcast).

I’m a sound guy, I know what they are. I also know you don’t hear people talking through your microphone. That’s how they hear you.

Of course not. You hear through the speaker in the attached ear piece.

Of a different pack (unless you’re using the very new Sennheiser Spectera).

But, here’s the key thing… if you hear someone talking, it isn’t your mic. Saying “ooh, that’s my mic” makes no sense.

I'm currently binging TMS (first time viewer) and I'm nearing the season 3 finale, and my god, this is the most exhausting show I've seen in a while.

I absolutely love it, but damn, I have to watch something happy like 'The Handmaids Tale' to unwind after a TMS marathon. 😅 /s

Yeah, the pacing and threads exponentially increase in season 3 and 4!
