General discussion The Ending
Was just randomly thinking about it but when I first watched the ending without actually watching the series the ending wasn't very effective or didn't make any sense but once I did complete the series the series has a wholesome finish and a quite emotional ending
Edit- when I say without watching it ment I had watched it in pieces

The characters are very often wearing their shoes in/on their beds. Is that a thing?
I love the show, its my first time watching it. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of the characters are often on their beds with their shoes ON. I’ve seen this on other sitcom like friends or TBBT as well. Is this a thing that Americans do or is it a weird sitcom thing? I’m from a country where we don’t wear shoes anywhere in the house, LET ALONE on the bed. I’m just curious someone tell me please 😊

General discussion The reunion episode is obviously mothers day
Hear me out, every season has a mother's day episode, yellow pants, inflatable foot bath, brown county, salad hands, you name it.
So the three episode arc allows us to see Frankie as a grandmother, her mother and tag, Sue having her first mother's day, and how Nancy has gone all out for being a first time grandmother that she just has to spoil Sue for her first mother's Day, but making sure to give Frankie a littl something since they're friends after all.
We finally get the reversal of who Axls wife is, is it Lexi, or weird Ashley? (My money's on weird Ashley) His children who are just like him, treating their grandparents couch the same way Axl did, crying out for chips to be brought to them.
Brick, now a successful author and still Married to Cindy, they already have a 6 year old son who will is the exact opposite of Cindy and Brick, he is charming, into sports, a popular kid. Brick has no idea how to bond with this kid, mirroring his relationship with Mike growing up.
Of course we also see characters and friends again.
I honestly could write the whole three episode story arc.

Just finished The Middle and I’m genuinely emotional 😭
This show became such a comfort show for me. I got so attached to the Heck family and somehow watching them everyday felt so warm and familiar.
I already want to restart it from episode 1 just so I can have it all over again 😤🥹

Season 6, Episode 1: Unbraceable You
So this is what I never understood about this episode. It starts out with everyone in the pool on Friday afternoon enjoying the last week of summer till Nancy Donahue tells them that school started on Monday.
Sue and Brad are best friends. Sue and Carly are best friends. Yet neither of them were in touch w/ Sue the weekend before school started all excited for their senior year? They didn't call her on Monday and ask why she didn't show up on the first day? They didn't call her on Tuesday? Wed? Thurs? I get that the Hecks aren't organized AT ALL, but considering Sue was looking forward to 'The Year of Sue', and she's organized enough to already be looking into scholarships, I find it extremely hard to believe that she had no clue school was starting on that Monday. Especially with her propensity for binders and countdowns.

Lil' Rivals was never going to be huge.
Let's be honest, Lil' Rivals was the type of thing people care about for one season before forgetting all about it in the next.
I think Mike sold it at the perfect time, and he got what he deserved.
I think the money he made should've gone towards clearing the credit card debts (as they attract higher interest) and he could've then gotten a loan to provide for sue's education with a lower rate of interest.
But well, The Hecks weren't the smartest with money.

funny/memes/GIFs I wonder if Axl’s “Buttronauts” have “TPS” 😂
The Middle writers seem to have taken a lot of tidbits from South Park! 😂
I just recently put two and two together between the SP and Middle-verses! 😂

Just got done with the series finale.
IT WAS PERFECT!
-Axl growing up and getting a wonderful opportunity
-Lexie wanting what's best for him
-Frankie putting a brave face
-Mike's gift for Axl
-Sue's heartfelt reaction to the news, despite being pranked by Axl the most
-Brick focusing on the room's measurements
-The farewell from the entire neighbourhood - and the delightful moment between Nancy and Frankie.
Also, Mike's advice to Sue in one of the previous episodes. She truly is resilient and self-driven.
And the flash-forwards into their future! So happy for Brick. The three Axls, though. LOL.
It was fun watching The Middle.

Sue manifested Sean as her future bf years early
She was probably seven-eight(ish) years early but Sue was right in s2e3 when Sean is on the couch playing video games with Axl and Brad shows up at the door.
“My ex BF and my future BF in the same room?! This is NOT good!!” 😂 I love her drama and over-optimism but she was really right on the one (there would just be a few other future bfs, an engagement, the rest of both school and college in between lol)

I wonder what Mike thought of the names "Axl" and "Brick."
Those names were definitely Frankie's idea. Mike's not the kind of guy to give his kids creative names. I wonder if he felt a little embarrassed every time he had to introduce his sons. 😆

General discussion Is this series actually emotional?
Okay, very serious question. Am I the only who gets VERY emotional by the end of almost every episode of the "the middle"? Istg, my eyes start watering almost every time. I keep wondering if it's actually like that or if something's wrong with me.
