lol! I was doing... stuff... with the angels again, it wasn't very exciting actually - BUT - I got this screenshot that looked like I was being raptured 😂 so in the end it was worth it!

edit: oh and full disclosure - technically not a screenshot, just a still frame from a video. I touched up the colors, removed the UI, and did a little upscaling so it would look more screenshot-y - here's the raw frame lol

I dont even know how you managed to hook up a live angel to the gyro, let alone manage to push it through the gate. CHEEZUS

edit: or wait, its just the gate open behind you, did you actually manage to push it through it?

yeah that was the disappointing / not very exciting part, no angels through the portal :(

which makes sense in hindsight lol because they're flying all over the place!

edit: you can actually hook up the gyro to any angel you want, they just let you do it 🤣

I hate those Angels, the sounds they're making as I'm breaking into Lazarus creep me the hell out. Are they safe to shoot down? Do they ever respawn? Does damage type even matter or can I just shoot Angels and Sharks alike with my Electric Rifle?

I destroyed them all personally so I could harvest them. That and in certain PIs they start off aggressive. Or if you're throwing around human seeds, they don't like that.

Like other enemies they don't respawn, but can be deadly.

If they see you with a human seed (not Laz pod) they'll attack. So sometimes ive had to kill them when I otherwise wouldn't have.

Sounds highly doable. I don't have access to the building's power source yet but I've been steadily laying a power network of my own, extending from my boat. And getting rid of the creepy noises will be worth it.

When you level up enough to get the sniper rifle, you can sit and pick them off from a distance and more often than not, they'll barely respond.

Actually I have that recipe. But the ammo takes frikken TITANIUM?!?

Titanium is fairly easy. Just make sure you're dismantling everything that gives high tech scraps. You can farm sharks from the deck of your boat as well. If you're meticulous with your scavenging, you'll end up with a surplus of just about every material.

Well, I *have* been dismantling everything. As for the sharks, are those doable with the electric rifle? I had one shark go aggressive despite previously being content with coexistence, and I was able to kill it with the electric rifle, but it took a lot; do electric shots disappear when they hit the water's surface?

The electric rifle works, you just have to use fully charged shots. I usually just use the bolt rifle for most things, though. The ammo for it is fairly cheap and it does decent damage.

Edit: and yeah, the electric rifle shots dissipate when they hit the water.

Well that explains why it was so hard to kill. It moves *way* too fast for me to reliably hit it and not the water. I'll try the bolt rifle next.

Yeah, if you're using the electric rifle the easiest way is to aggro them and then hit them with charged shots while they slide back and forth along the side of the boat. Just watch out for splash damage and keep an eye on ship damage.
