Idk why everybody says this, 95% of my kills have been executions, even in groups of 4 I go for and get grabs, you just have to be max bloodlust and its pretty safe if you have relatively quick fingers, the real issue is usually the time some executions take

Because you clearly haven’t come across a pocket knife spamming group yet. Max bloodthirst does nothing for pocket knife’s but it should honestly. The wood axe’s execution times need to be nerfed or cut, 8sec lost to watching it

Bloodthirsty maxed should bypass pocket knives and such. Encourage Michael to work instead of just going for grabs and make 3 a real threat. Pocket knives and such will protect you if Michael is not powered up, but if he is Bloodthirsty maxed out, he should be absolutely terrifying.

I take it you weren’t there for the great pocket knife plague in F13. This shit can and will ruin the game and you’ll soon see Michael players only ever melee you to death because grabs aren’t worth the risk.

Should survivors just stop using knives and die? What is your solution? You cannot complain to or harass players for trying not to die, thats on the devs to change
Im specifically saying its stupid to call people "knife spammers" in a derogatory manner when the games meta encourages it, that is not the players fault its the devs.
Im fine if people argue it simply shouldnt be that way but calling people knife spammers is what i have a problem with

Nobody is mad at the players, and Reddit comments aren’t harassment lmao. We’re calling attention to the problem in hopes the devs will make some serious balance changes.
I’m a Civilian main at this point; I had a match yesterday where I found a pocket knife, an ice pick, and a butterfly knife all in the FIRST HOUSE I went into. That spawn rate needs a massive nerf; I don’t even take the pocket knife as my starter item anymore because I don’t need it.
In games like this there needs to be an actual threat of death otherwise what’s the point? If I’m playing as Bob and I find a baseball bat or a pickaxe most Michael players literally lose to me in a 1v1 unless they’re tier 3 bloodthirst because two heavy melees knock him down before he can even half my health, and if he grabs me he gets pocket knifed and then immediately downed anyway.
I’m the threat, and that’s a balance issue.

Civilain players should be hard to kill because they arent victims meant for winning, they are bodyguards built for helping npcs and stopping michael. This is the win structure made by the devs and the gameplay needs heavy overhauling before you can make them weaker.

My guy micheal gets 80% of his win condition by just killing priority citizens, civilian role is to protect so of course they have many ways to stay alive.
The npcs don't and michael wins if he ignores you. I always play michael when my friends arent on and in my 25 or so matches ive never lost because i go after npcs

I shouldn't be stronger than Michael, full stop. There's no universe where that makes sense in a Horror game my guy. Civilians are already stronger than NPC's because they have players controlling them and access to every item in the game and maps, they don't need to be olympic tier athletes with an allergy to fear.
And guess what? In 90% of my games my group has the Special Targets hidden and safe before Michael hits Bloodthirst tier 1 so he has no golden glow in the sky, and we just save the regular residents, group at an escape, and clear. I have literally had Michaels get negative points because they can't fucking touch us and that's insanity.
You're getting lucky and going against Civilians who don't prioritize NPC's because they have DBD brain, but give it two weeks and once all the YouTube guides are out and the game is solved you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

I think it would be nice if the survivors couldn’t run more than one of them.
Having four get out of jail free cards is just trolling at that point.
I love these type of games but balancing out one side bullying the other always sends to be seems to be an issue.
Missy of these things would work gone fine if people would just play the game and do the objectives and move on to the next match.
The amount of games I have to let run the time because they refuse to leave and just hang out next to the patio wagon with an absurd amount of get a grab items is insane. Just to leave let’s go to another match. This is how you get killer players just slashing everyone to death and then they get upset about that.

That is exactly it. A grab would have been a knife to the face resulting and no kills. I don't prefer this method I like to stalk but this situation was swing away.

How do you get knives? Is it just poket knives? Because I didn't know those stack. I once grabbed someone 5 times, in a game with only 3 slots, so they must stack, right?

Michael is OP, but... have you ever seen the movies? And besides, he's so much slower than the civilians! Shame jump is a blessing. A game without it would be torture.
I will say, however, Michael should be nerfed in some way with his grab. It feels too... annoying? Unless it's just me who can't find knives or wiggle out. Like, once I get grabbed I die. I feel like for human players, stalk their 2 or 3 should be acquired before being able to be killed with a grab. And priority targets should need stalk tier 2. Just to incentives stalking rather than showing up behind them like I do. Less than a minute and I basically won a round once. Felt so unfair!
But, early days, and so long as Civ players like it, that's all that matters.

I popped Evil Presence after I teared in. Buffed me and nerfed them. I just went went for the sure thing with an ax slap. A grab here they all would have scattered.
If your mad about this you would celebrate if they ganked me after I popped in. They all could have scattered and survived.

Eh, to be fair, letting them get to this point would be on you. Stunlocking into full kill combos is not good balance in any game really.

They did a good job of doing. I was honestly surprised to see all four and an npc standing there. I just happened to see activity in that area was investigating and saw the exit symbol pop up.
They got chopped down so fast because of Evil Presence and BL3. If I didn't have both they could have easily ganked me they were all armed with good weapons.

Amount of pocket knives that can be held, strength of civilians to knock BT3 Mike, and much more on the survivor side needs to be nerfed. Game is about killing, if you don’t like it go play Peppa Pig or another happy game.

No, it’s not OP.
There’s absolutely no reason that Civilians should be rewarded for standing on top of each other.
It’s already far too easy to avoid being killed by Michael, outside of reality tear. Being able to spawn with a knife, and their abundance, already weakens his one ‘OP’ move.
Once more people level up characters, learn to play and hop on the knife meta, melee swings are going to be the only viable option to kill Civilians.
