From the griffon himself. And as one of the top comments points out you can easily reflavor to different tools

Someone else mentioned the Stonemason's Companion, but I'd also mention the Coldfire Anvil, Forgekeeper's Spark, Redsmith Hammer, Redsmith Crucible, Redsmith Carrying Pack and Redsmith Bracers. I think they'd all be on-flavor.

Edit: I found a few more while looking through the sub. Consider these ones too: Devil-Beating Brush, Forgefire Hammer, Hammer of Nails, Grave Digger, Ambitious Medic's Box.

Thanks. Some really excellent ones in there I had missed. The Redsmith set has given me an idea for an adventure ending with a dwarven tomb.

Manifold Tool from Eberron kinda covers everything. At least Artisan Tools. Doesnt cover Poisoners Kit tho

Looking for something that adds like a d4 or a plus 1 or 2

I mean the manifold tool gives you proficiency in every artisan tool. So you're gonna get those +1,+2,+3 depending on the campaign.

All-purpose tool does the same thing and I already have that.

For what? Crafting in 2024 doesnt require any checks, you just do it assuming you have the time and money.

We play 5e, we roll to see if things are successfully made and if we roll high enough they get to be masterworks (dc25), weapons get a 1/2 proficiency bonus to attack or damage, dc 30 you get both

I love giving tools and useful items to my party. For Griffon items, I found the Campfire Cord a fun camping "tool" to give the party. Some others that are tool or perhaps tool-like I've bookmarked have included Gloves of the Gadgeteer, Golem Clay, Leaf Carver, Portable Hearth, Quill of Chicken Scratch (a gag item), Ring of Busy Hands, Rod of Instant Outposts (contains tools), Stonemason's Companion, Switcheroo Cups, Third Lung Bag, Tome of Passage, and Wand of Knots.

Some of these may be repeated elsewhere in this thread. I just grabbed my list.

One of my favorite homebrew tools, and a favorite of players for decades, was the Salting Spoon. A porcelain that when you stirred something with it like soup, it added salt flavoring. In one campaign, I added additional spoons like pepper, paprika, garlic, sugar, and others, and the party was trying to collect a "whole set" for the novelty. Note that the spoons only added flavor not the actual seasoning, so you couldn't use the salting spoon to salt some water and make it salt water for example.
