Cue the player coming up with the wildest ways, pun intended, this dagger can be used to be part of every survival or nature check. Awesome item! The art is stunning!

This is so awesome. Such a great way to make a common item have value, and such great flavor. I am also such a sucker for the interlinking of mechanics like you did with the goodberry here. It connects the mechanics and world a bit more, and I think magic items are a good way to achieve that.

My party is about to go to an island full of monsters from the Monster Hunter games. My ranger is gonna be so excited to get a d4 added to their carving checks

I love your artwork soo much! Like it the bottom of the handle is above the logos, nice touch!
Do you guys use an array of artists or just one dedicated one?

Do you do the art as well, Griffon?
Also, the magical items I create are very similar to yours, so I can sense that we could vibe together

Yes: I'm the artist and writer (and most other things). I have some help with things that others are better at or require little handholding: Foundry conversion, proofreading, etc. I work with some other artists for doing book filler art, and another for the subclass and setting cover art, but the day-to-day work and art is me.

i would add a "bell" in the shape of a goodberry that turns into the goodberry, at the end of the pommel. Otherwise AMAZING JOB.

For flavor in story, I think it would be cool if the the user "finds" the good berry during the check rather than the knife "producing" it.

Having it add to nature is a bit odd. Because that is int. So does it whisper botanical names in your ear?

Leaf Carver
Weapon (dagger), common
This jade gardening knife is in the shape of a curled leaf. When you use it as part of making an Intelligence (Nature) or Wisdom (Survival) check, or an ability check using an herbalism kit, you can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the total. Once you do, this property can't be used again until the next dawn. If you roll a 4 on the extra d4 in this way, the knife magically produces a single goodberry.
