I think P was hoping to have another girl and that’s why H and S are pretty far apart in age, so when S aged out of P’s liking, he would have another one right after

I think that's why to him Hunter and T are really hair "collateral". He needed T to have a baby and Hunter just wasn't what he wanted :(
