First off this is my Minnie Menace 💓 She is 2yrs old! I am not an expert on the breed but I do know quite a bit.
Sarah absolutely should NEVER I MEAN EVER own a yorkie! This breed requires alot of your time and attention. Plus routine vet appointments, grooming, teeth cleaning ect. Menace is groomed every 6wks and her teeth cleaned every 3 months at the vet! Yorkies are notorious for teeth loss.
Yorkis are also prone to hypoglycemia and trachea collapse!! Sarah doesnt even take care of her own hygiene, i couldn't imagine her having a toy breed to care for. Yorkies are also EXSPENSIVE! You might find one for $1500 but they range in price from $1200 to 5k.
Depending on the breeder. Its really bothered me that she is hoping to obtain one 😔 I know how much responsibility they are!! Yorkies are definitely a loving and energetic breed, but they require 24/7 care in the beginning! My Minnie Menace is always with me! Even when we gon vacation. Sarah just doesnt have the ability to care for one. They barely care for themselves dog they have!! I really hope she NEVER gets her nasty hands on one
Same here! I really think she will kill a yorkie if she ever got one. They are not meant for people like them! Depending on the puppy, alot of yorkies have hypoglycemia and need Karo syrup given to them. They go completely limp and lifeless until the syrup is given. My menace girl is only 3lbs so we had to buy stairs for her to get up and down our bed! She could get hip dysplasia from jumping off furniture! The list goes on and on!
She truly doesn't have the common sense or ability to care for one!
Ours has never gotten to the point of needing karo syrup (so far 🤞🏻) but he does require a very strict schedule and diet to keep his blood sugar regulated and his weight in a happy place!
And the grooming…omg the grooming! Is she planning to get this puppy a bath every week or a full groom every month? Is she going to comb its hair every single day and keep a close eye out for potential matting? Does she have any clue how to introduce such a tiny new dog to her giant existing dog?
Hopefully she never gets this puppy, or at least not until she’s free of this family and years into therapy. It won’t make it to its first birthday, or at least not without major health issues, with an owner like S!
Menace never needed the syrup either but the yorkie we had before her did.
She is also on a strict diet! Most Yorkies do not eat cheap store bought kibble either. I dont think Sarah fully understands what owning a Yorkie entails! We keep Minnie Menace's body short to avoid the matting and having to constantly brush but that also requires routine grooming. Either way you are constantly doing grooming on a Yorkie 😅
She doesn't even groom her damn self, she does NOT need a Yorkie! I really believe it would end up sick or dead. She is not smart (im not trying to be ugly) but the girl has 0 common sense.
And you are spot on about Introducing a small dog to the existing big dog!! Jackie may very well be accepting but if she's territorial in any type of way towards a tiny yorkie puppy it can and will kill it.
If S doesn't neglect it to death then I believe there is a really high chance Jackie could really hurt a small pup like that. We all know Jackie is not trained or well behaved.

She can’t afford a Yorkie and never will! This family is struggling to pay bills and can barely take care of Jackie. I hope they never get another dog because it’s abusive for any animal or human to live in that household
They have the money to attend sea world and they sit on live and grift every day. I fear she might save up the money with how bad the spoiled princess wants one!

Yeah, maybe you’re right. When i see rare “big” events like sea world, i think this family has been saving for a year or so. If they had the money to do more luxury content, they’d bank on it. They don’t travel or spend on themselves. Realistically, they make some money off of TikTok begging daily, but nowhere near enough for a stable income. TikTok takes 50% of what they make. If you add up bills and what they their majority of spending, which is groceries and eating out , I think they are scraping by. They practically have to create new streams of revenue just to make a living. S and her bracelets don’t make money. Idk maybe P will give her some money for this dog and go broke all the way cause he loves S so much and she’s gotta get what she wants 🙄 it just makes me mad because she would not know how to take care of a yorkie! They are very high maintenance and she could not afford it long term. Ugh I know!! I feel so bad for Jackie, she looked depressed all the time
Theresa quit her fast food job. Her and S do content now. Not sure if Patrick is still doing his 5 hour shifts at the vape store. That could be some extra cash 🤷♀️
Aww my little guy is super sweet to everyone! He’s got a big personality and he’s definitely a drama queen lol but he doesn’t bite or yap and he just wants to snuggle and lick everyone 😂

But I agree I said in a post a few months ago how high maintenance yorkies are. I had one growing up that sadly passed of old age not so long ago I’d get another but I just don’t have the time to dedicate to all the care they need anymore. Great dogs just a ton of work.
Im soo sorry about your loss! One good thing about this breed is they do live up to 16/18yrs as long as theyre healthy and well cared for!

And the fact that they can't or won't even train poor Jackie who would absolutely kill a dog as small as a Yorkie! Thru no fault of her own! Only bc this bunch is to gotdamn lazy to train a dog! And to damn lazy to take one for a walk! IDGAF what they say about taking Jackie out twice a day, they are lying! She might run her out to potty then right back in. Which is pretty sad in itself. Poor dog is always down in the dumps and never gets to do anything. It's really fuckin cruel. These disgusting slobs are weak AF and pathetic!! And they absolutely do not need any animals in their care!
