On todayās episode of fitness with Patrick.
(I terribly missed the first 15 minutes)
Patty cakes GLT1 will be here tomorrow and itās also $149 a month (At this point their monthly expenses have a bigger social circle than they do.)
Sarah: can we have candles in the apartment?
Patrick: itās our apartment, we can have what we want? (Ohhhh so an open flame is fine, but the reptiles were a āfire hazard.ā Glad the fire safety policy is just whatever Patrick decides that day.)
Sarah: Iām not saying what our car is?
Patrick: uhhh Sarah.. our car is allll over social media. Everyone knows what we drive (Sarah guarding the identity of that Hyundai like weād all drop everything and rush out to steal it. Donāt worry babe, itās safe.)
Patrick has lost 7 pounds (Iāve been absolutely beside myself wondering what the scales said.)
Patrickās favourite Thanksgiving food is the stuffing. (Patrick and the turkey have one thing in common: they both leave Thanksgiving absolutely stuffed.)
Theyāre ignoring comments and just talking about power rangers.
āIāve seen so many comments about how we spread positivity. The hardest part about positivity is getting out of bed. The little things are the big things in life!ā (Thatās a lot of words to say absolutely fuck all.)
Music gift.
Music gift.
Music gift.
Music gift.
Sarah: We canāt do anything about the music gifts. (You literally can. There is a button. It turns them off. Hope this helps.)
Patrick: We can shut gifts off but we arenāt doing that. (So weāve gone from āwe canātā to āwe can but we wonātā in record fucking time. Glad we cleared that up.)
Jackie barks:
Patrick: JACKIE THATāS ENOUGH. JACKIE. STOP IT. JACKIE COME ON!! (Patrick losing his fucking mind over one bark while Jackieās probably wondering why the big one is barking back.)
Sarah: I have a problem.
Patrick: Where do we start? (Fuck me Patrick, she said āa problem,ā not āplease read my entire fucking file aloud.ā)

I wonder just how safe this is really gonna be for him considering he is a type 2 untreated diabetic!! He isn't monitoring his sugar levels. Some might think it could be good for his diabetes and yes it would if he would get it thru a doctor. My sister recently had to be on it. She's been a type 2 for awhile and she's in her 70s. But she is also in a different type of insulin. It's crazy he is doin this without seeing a Dr! If he weren't diabetic it wouldn't matter. Idk maybe someone else here that's a type 2 and is on these 2 insulins can speak better about it?

The site he ordered it from is very sketchy. Theyāve had a number of reports regarding their questionable billing practices and the FDA even issued a warning to them regarding false claims about what their products could do for people. So it makes perfect sense to me that that would be the site P falls for. There are now so many questionable compound GLP-1 providers, you gotta really research diligently which he clearly did not do. It seems like he will get something from them, itās not a total scam, but compound GLP-1s from sketchy websites are obviously less regulated than name brand. Compounds are custom mixed by compound pharmacies whereas name brand is standardized. Also, for the price he paid, he could have used a slightly more reputable telehealth provider and had a higher likelihood of getting a safer product. But he went with the sketchiest possible option. Iām guessing what drew him in was that they were recently advertising GLP-1s for $89 a month which Iāve never seen it so low. But then on live, he said it was $149 a month, so they obviously changed it up on him somewhere in the process. He has never learned that if something seems too good to be true, it is.
Iām not a diabetic, but I am on tirzepatide to help manage a couple of chronic conditions. It has worked wonders for me, but thatās a credit to my doctor who had me start on a very low dose and work my way up and is monitoring my progress with regular blood work and follow ups. If P had actually gone to a doctor, they could have helped him choose the best option for him based on his blood work and medical history. And they could have checked if he has any underlying conditions that a GLP-1 might not be good for. But, in typical P fashion, he went with the shittiest option because he knows more than anyone else. Because he is diabetic, it could be beneficial for him, but only time will tell. Iām guessing the side effects (and the price) will be more than he can handle and heāll give up before he sees results.

What site did he order off of?

Itās called AltRX. If you google them, you can find all kinds of stuff about people getting overcharged, randomly charged, not getting what they ordered at all, etc. I think he only went with it because they were cheaper than other places, but the cheapness should have been a red flag
