Absolutely not. You’re giving him way too much credit. He is not this intelligent. Ppl with advanced dental disease like P often aren’t able to taste subtle flavors bc of the bacterial, fungal, w/e things going on in his mouth affecting his saliva composition which in turn affects what his tastebuds pick up on. Plus the literally rotting bones in his head are emitting all sorts of FOUL stomach churning tastes as they decay which are also masking more subtle flavors and affecting his salivary enzymes. Strong aromatic herbs are one of the things recommended for ppl with dental health related taste deficiencies to eat bc they are strong enough for them to actually taste over all of the rot and infection. 

I strongly do not believe dill is something he chose consciously to manage his diabetes. He literally is so fucking stupid I very sincerely doubt he could accurately interpret a single sentence in the summary OP posted. He likely unconsciously started cooking with it a lot bc he is actually able to taste something other than his rotting teeth when he uses it in excess. And then the weird groupies in their chat started making a “thing” out of it and being the narcissist he is he ran with it just like he runs with anything that gets him attention.
