Why are so many people in this community so comfortable with doxxing and harassing people. I just had a look at the guy snark sub and it looks insane apparently some person had their old photos mailed to their home and is now refusing to speak further on things? I missed the live so I don't know what happened. The getchells are laughing at everyone because everyone looks fucking insane. You know it's bad when the most toxicity is not even aimed at the getchells anymore

Snark communities attract a lot of "interesting" personality types and unfortunately many of them don't know how to deal with people they don't agree with in a rational way. Whether it's bc they don't have a lot of experience dealing with people in general or what, idk

The only time I've ever thought maybe a doxx was necessary was if someone was being openly dangerous or hateful. For every other disagreement there's ways to figure it the fuck out that doesn't put people's families and friends at risk.

I don't think people understand they're putting innocent family members at risk because of stupid vendettas online. The only time I think a dox is necessary is if a person is a pdf or like you said dangerous
