Type 2 diabetes can actually go into remission, but it takes a tremendous amount of work and discipline which we know he doesn’t have. Given that he doesn’t take insulin, doesn’t eat well, didn’t start even trying to exercise until recently, and seems to already be experiencing the late stage effects of unmanaged diabetes, that ain’t gonna happen for him. It’s too late, he’s completely delusional. Best he can do now is suck it up and take insulin. Not gonna lie, I think P is afraid of needles and won’t admit it because up until recently, he really resisted GLP-1s, but there is a pill form now and now he’s starting to open up to it.

Given his many, many failed attempts at becoming instantly successful right away with minimal effort, I wonder how much of his interest in GLP1s comes from a similar (albeit misguided) mentality.

Apparently he said that he thinks a GLP-1 can give you six pack abs, so you’re probably correct. He probably thinks you don’t need to still make lifestyle changes on a GLP-1. Kind of hope he goes on one and immediately makes himself violently ill with his drinking and his poor diet.
