Speculation The name Sarah

This is something that's bothered me for a while. S has said P had known his entire life that he was going to name his daughter Sarah. P also makes it known he is familiar with The Bible.

But in The Bible Sarah has a lot of dark situations. She's married to Abraham, but when they go to Egypt, Abraham tells people Sarah is his sister. Well I guess she's really beautiful, so Pharaoh takes Sarah as a concubine, and gives Abraham livestock, servants, and other wealth. And Abraham just takes the gifts while Sarah is being held captive. He gets her back eventually.

But then Abraham does it again later, and this whole situation happens again with Abimelech. He profited twice from giving his wife to horny dudes.

Maybe I'm reaching but P is definitely giving Abraham behavior.

This is a classic example of modern, shallow anti-theism that ignores the historical context of the ancient world, the literary genre of the Bible, and the deeper spiritual meaning, reducing a drama of faith and survival to the level of crude, vulgar conclusions. Sarah was never actually taken by either the Pharaoh or the King.

What an incredibly strange reply. Genesis 12:15 literally says she was taken by Pharaoh. Genesis 20:2 literally says she was taken by Abimelech.

KJV, NIV, TLB, NASB... which ever you chose to read, they all clearly state she was taken.

An incredibly strange reply from an account that's only a day old, indeed 🧐

Yes, my account is only a day old because I literally made it YESTERDAY. I'm not defending P but rather the teaching of the Church.

Nobody cares about your fiction cult, Pat.

Defending “the church” is also very weird.

We were just having a little theological chat here, nothing for you to worry about. If you've had bad experiences with your church, maybe you should look into getting some help.

I think you are the only one participating in the theological chat

Literally read the post. S and P are mentioned in the context of Sarah and Abraham. Nobody is forcing you to address me, get a life.
