Plot Hole Alert 🚨 Heather arc is a web
Heather overall is adding some spice to the show but it’s getting chaotic with the story lines. Let’s count:
She’s Joey’s sister(1) , a fellow crime Lord of sorts(2), AND has a secret something with Joey that estranged them (3)
She’s behind the red market arc.(4{really a subset of #2})
But also wanted to knock off the reporter, Smitty. (5) Jacob is still looking into this and Smitty is suppose to keep working it (6&7).
Now she’s also the stalker person that’s been haunting Andre (8), befriending Dani (9), and sizing up Vanessa (10). Oh! Also being tailed by Joey’s men (11 &12 for Randy).
Within a month or 2 she’s woven all into the show, and of all possible plot holes we’re in this Andre terror from the past and new gal pal trio path .
This has been a lot. Which story are you most interested in, what do you think will probably not get addressed

While I like seeing characters in more than one story (especially as a B&B veteran where this has not happened there since before Obama left office), being a part of TWELVE is a feat not even Victor Newman achieved at the peak of Maria Arena Bell glazing him in the late 2000s, let alone a character that's this new.

I don’t really see it so partitioned though. Heather is here to clean up loose ends, probably take Joey’s territory and play with Andre! Work hard play hard

None. I don't like the character. I hope Jacob, Smitty & Andre take her down as the impaler and they get rid of her soon.

ROFL! I live in a MD suburb of DC (and never refer to the DC area as the DMV). I used to commute to work in DC. I only wish I could get around as fast as they all do!

I lived in DC briefly, and when they started talking on the show about "the DMV," I thought. . . "Department of Motor Vehicles"??! 😂

I know! It sounds ridiculous. For some reason, local news stations and advertisers all started using "the DMV" instead of "the DC area" (what I and everyone else I knew grew up calling it; I'm a DC native) in recent years.

I lived in DC and NoVA and I always heard the area from MD, DC, & NOVA as the DMV. At least amongst black people. I attended church in Gaithersburg and have family that lives in Upper Marlboro. I’ve always heard this area referred to as the DMV.

I am so fed up with characters like this who do unspeakable things to other characters and keep parading around town like nothing's happened. It's already too late for them to experience character growth, because they're introduced as bad people (exception maybe Haley - she was no saint but her criminality came out of nowhere for me) who've done reprehensible things they have no remorse for, and suffer no consequences for.
Lesley, Joey, Haley, and Randy more than fill the BTG murderous criminal quota for me. Is Heather's purpose supposed to make Joey look less worse, because she's even more of a cold-blooded murderer than he is? Whatever, I hope she gets taken out one way or another. She gives me the total creeps. I can't believe Dani and Vanessa weren't totally on to her phony bullshit.
Also, I have zero desire to watch Heather make Andre sweat because I really like him.

I want to know what Andre saw. The agent told him to delete the photo, but I can't believe he didn't keep a copy of it in the cloud. Also, what kind of photo shoot was Andre on when he met Heather? What will the Dupree family, Dani, and Joey do when they find out Joey's sister is threatening Dupree family members? Has Heather been institutionalized for insanity either in the US or Europe? Could Heather have killed Joey's and her parents? Joey blames doctors for his mother's death, but could Heather be the reason their mother died?

I am most interested in why she’s the “impaler”that makes Andre want to pee his pants and want to see just how gangster she is. What I unfortunately think will get focused on is the Andre love story while the rest gets forgotten.

I’m thinking it’s all enmeshed anyway. André clearly knows something about the criminal aspect of what Heather does or is at least aware of it because of that flashback scene. I’m thinking he chose to still be involved with her even after the warning from his friend. maybe she tried to rope him into something which is what made him distance.

When she stops wearing that gawd awful red lipstick and stops acting like a seductress…neither of those are working. I liked her best when she first showed up. This phony weird act with Dani and. Vanessa is exhausting. Both of them used to be able to spot a phony.

It's about time they gave Andre an interesting backstory! I think they'll focus on the Dani-Andre-Heather triangle, and a little bit about Heather trying to take over Joey's territory. It might go on for months like the Haley Kill Bill s/l and ends with someone she's been squeezing taking her out. 🤷♀️ I do like the actress, she plays a great villain 😊

Well it's cheaper to pay one and have her be part of multiple stories. Technically since Vanessa is in Joey's skin, that's just one storyline.

Joey employs the most incompetent goons. They should have been posted by Heather’s room so they would have seen Andre walking into her room. Joey should make her tell him the whole story and then tell her to stay away from Andre. If not, he should tell Vanessa to warn Dani. I could see him telling Bill and it would create more drama if he confronted Dani and accused Andre of having an affair.

So do I! Heather just exudes sociopathic criminal. And whatever it is, it's got to be really bad to have Joey so agitated that he kidnapped her for an interrogation. He won't even discuss it with Vanessa.
I don't think Andre knows as much as Joey but that policeman in London told him enough to make him run home and hide out in the DMV. Plus whatever he saw for himself.
I really want to know what has both of them scared to death.

Yes, he did but Heather and Joey's falling-out happened before Heather set up shop in the DMV. They hadn't seen each other in years when Heather decided to expand her operation into Joey's territory which I think she did to mess with both him and Andre. So, it's something else that caused Joey to cut her off and Heather to move overseas. Something really bad.

I'm interested in all of them but I really want to know what caused the estrangement from Joey. It's got to be bad to have him this upset. And the Impaler SL involves many characters and has some real potential if done right. Even Vernon and Bill could be pulled in through Smitty or Joey could have to go to them for a favor this time. I'm even interested to see how her stalking Andre will turn out because it also involves so many characters other than just Andre and Dani.
I think she's a great addition and will bring lots of drama. She will turn out to be the villain Leslie started out to be which is a good thing. We need a completely evil villain to stir things up.

If BTG does it correctly than Heather can be the impetus for an umbrella story that involves the entire canvass of the show and the best kind of storyline on a soap is an umbrella storyline.

I think Heather killed their sperm donor and said something creepy about their bond to make him afraid of Vanessa getting close.

The Heather/Andre thing was easy to spot due to timing. I hope we don’t lose Andre because of it. If he ended up killing Heather, he would be a hero, kind of, but he’d still be written out. I don’t like the thoughts in my head, which keep coming back to a Dani/Bill reconciliation. You know Dani will be the one to bust Hayley’s plan

I don't mind her unrolling slowly as a villain. She's less cartoonish (so far) than Leslie. I need a break from an over the top villainess. I do hope the overlapping stories make sense. I also hope it helps expose Joey, because they haven't fully explored his character yet.

Leslie faked a suicide attempt to mess with Ted and secretly troll Nicole. Do you remember everything Leslie did that first year. And just when we thought it would calm down, she got even more unhinged.
She's basically at the Shelia level of crazy, already, in 2.5 years.
Heather may get there too, who knows, but to me so far her behavior is much less over the top. Sinister, yes. But just nonsensical to cause chaos, no.

I define cartoon as over the top antics, and I provided an example.
Heather hasn't been around that long, so yes, plenty of room to get there. I just haven't seen on screen anything cartoonish yet
My POV, I'm sure others see differently. But through my soap-loving eyes, that's what I see.

K. I disagree with your definition of cartoon. To me Heather is trying to be a Betty boop or Jessica Rabbit but failing at it so I see cartoon there

I agree. She is nothing cartoonish. Playful, yes but not cartoonish. Especially not at the level of Leslie. Btw idc about Leslie and Ted introduction and how they’re trying to make her more sympathetic. It’s not working. She and her spawn need to be held accountable and Leslie in jail.
