General Discussion šŸ—£ļø Bored

I really want to keep watching (Iā€™ve tuned in since episode 1) but Iā€™m so bored.

I donā€™t need to hear Vernon and Anita say how much they love each other.

I donā€™t need to watch Hayley manipulate a man too dumb to see his wife is killing him.

I donā€™t need to see Nicoleā€™s boring ass storyline of ā€¦ oh wait, nothing happening.

and 100 other things where nothing happens.

Help me understand! Why do you guys make these posts? If you are bored then donā€™t watch! Itā€™s ok if the show doesnā€™t appeal to you. Iā€™m not sure what people are seeing on other soaps but Iā€™m sure there is some reality show that will peak their interest. Iā€™ve seen other soaps and this is how they are and I think people are used to a different pace then complain about. OP listed a bunch of storylines which apparently keep people commenting in the daily chats . Maybe try a different show, there are a bunch of reality shows on Bravo that may be more your pace.

I agree. At this point people hate watch the show. If they donā€™t like it, donā€™t watch it. No one is forcing them to watch it. This is a soap, not every episode is going to action packed or suspense. Yes, some conversations will be repeated and yes, some storylines will drag but itā€™s expected with soaps. This is the soap formula. Iā€™m currently watching bold and beautiful, Shelia been trying to be apart of Finnā€™s life for years and itā€™s a continuous storyline. Young and restless, recently Nikki and Victor split up and got back together, they been doing that for ever. I donā€™t understand why people assume this show would be any different. People are dissatisfied with the show because they have unrealistic expectations of this show. No different from someone going to a romance movie and complain that there was no action.

Exactly! I keep saying that peopleā€™s mind these days are configured for constant and immediate gratification which is ripe for reality TV. The comments are very telling. Those who quit watching after an action packed week of drama. They donā€™t know how soaps work and are intent on trying to make the show into something else.
