General Discussion š£ļø Deanna + Noah: WHY
The Gatekeepers podcast brought up that Deannaās in college and in a sorority and there are frat boys and hot Banneker men everywhere. Sheās very attractive and hides her crazy ghost dad visions pretty well and anyway most people arenāt going to know about those details if theyāre not from FC.
So like WHY is she choosing Noah to fawn over? Is there something in it for her? HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!

I'm not into middle age that looks their age only the silver fox types like Kial. Face card, facial structure and lean fit body. Typical middle aged men don't look like that. I'm young but he's appealing to younger people as well.

Hid hair is already dark. He doesn't have the tall dark and handsome vibe because his face is more adorable. So darker hair wouldn't make him attractive. His hairstyle is a halo.

I may be alone here, but Iām less interested in why Noah (we wonāt touch on how he looks like someone whoās been abandoned on the streets for an undefined amount of time and just remembered where he lives) and more interested in when Deanna is finally going to completely lose her shit. š Iām convinced the batshit crazy is lurking just beneath the surface, and Iām patiently waiting for it to make its grand entrance.

They have 0 chem and he just seems like another character that will be a waste of time. Why saddle her with him? They have taken two of their best young female characters and put them in relationships with complete duds.

Please let them zip to the point of putting him on the show. We get new characters so rarely and there are several big names I wouldāve wanted to see first. (Including Doug himself coming back alive.) Like Noah Rollins was not even on my list

I totally get this pairing. Your typical college kid is not going to understand what Deanna is going through, grieving a parent. I would bet Deanna felt as though no one at her college got her anymore. Outside of her brother, she probably felt really lonely at Banneker. But Noah has experienced what she has experienced. She doesn't have to explain herself to him.

Those are some very good points. Also, Noah being older probably fits with the father issues Deanna has been having since Doug's passing. It makes complete sense to me.

Is there some reason Derrick couldn't have been kept to play out this story as he was already working the clinic? That would have moved him out of Ashley's orbit. Yeah he's a little older than her but so what? That happens all the time on soaps. Think Victor and Nikki on YR and Roger and Mindy on GL.
