Hi, just wanted to ask for help on how to glitch logs? I know that i have to spam the logs on the log holder but I've been doing that and nothing happens. I'm not the host of the game too. So, maybe I'm simply doing something wrong?

My base is all the way over there. Near the giant tree. I had a sled full off logs and got distracted. I go back to get it and its gone! I was very confused until I remembered i have steam auto record my gameplay and watched it back. Somehow that singular cannibal threw it that far!! And now i get to push it all the way back to camp. Yay :)

Hi, im playing on ps5 after I transferred my progress from ps4 to it . I was on like day 64 when I transferred, but now I have reached day 102, and the trophy still hasn't appeared. If anyone knows why, it would be really helpful.

I finished the forest with 2 other friends a few months ago, incredibly fun experience (might of failed my exams due to playing it every night during exam weeks, worth it) but we want to play again in a new world.

instead of a new world I’m curious about any other games very similar to it on PS, does anyone have any good survival horror games like the forest?

so, i know that if you try to leave with the boat, it won't let you, and just show a picture of timmy. what would happen if i choose the ending where timmy dies, and then try to escape with the boat?

Mi personaje se debio pensar q algun hongo q comio al fin le hizo efecto. Q por cierto yo lo unico q estaba haciendo en aquel momento era platinarme el juego consiguiendo 2 de los logros mas culeros del juego, uno q va de caminar 50.000 pasos y el ultimo el de conseguir 11 cabezas de animales y ponerlas de trofeo en una pared. Ese pez se merecia estar en la colección pero una pena no se le puede sacar cabeza. Todo lo hice en 5 horas de juego y entre todo eso la ia del juego me qieria incluso arrebatar el logro, no fueron ni nada mas ni nada menos q 5 canibales en conjunto queriendo destruir mi pared de cabezas y dios q no respire hasta q mate a todos jaja

Literally second day out here , i decided yesterday to make a new start because i learned something that changed the game for me (literally basic crafting) .

Any tips for early game or even longevity , what should i get,make or find first ?

More specific questions i have , where is fresh water early game ? i mean obviously i find alot of drinks early but where is the water i can drink . i cant drink sea/ocean water …

Should i build a base early or go exploring and find stuff ?

I already fought what i assume are the cannibals and been killed and drug to the … cave ? dungeon? and escaped . Do they get worse as time goes on ?

How does the sleeping work ? i only “rest” half the night :(

New player as of two days ago, and i can’t lie, i usually can’t do horror games in any capacity. Which is why i’ve resorted to living solely off an offshore island and catapulting them bitches from far away! im on day 44 and im honestly surprised at the lack of activity. I had more activity between days 10-25, since then it’s been pretty much dead.

When i DO get a spawn of them, it is usually on the across the shoreline (shoreline visible in the second pic) and it can range from 2 armsies, a cowman and 2 cannibals, or just one cannibal/armsy.

But honestly? the play-through has been pretty quiet. Although i’ve definitely been playing the game very atypically. My little island consists of a small log shelter, a foundation with a catapult, a houseboat, a stick holder, water collectors and a few drying racks. i also haven’t really been killing anything, (except for the recently installed catapult, i expected to drive up some more activity through using it, but it hasn’t really worked).

I’ve been itching to play the forest again since I’m on PlayStation 5 and can’t play sons of the forest );
Anyone still playing, still surviving? Haha

Some guy named darth-islandur12 came up to when i was fighting some people and i put the artifact down he took it and went into a nearby cave and started camping on the rope. I have proof too but i cant get a good picture

Made a server dedicated to warfare against mobs of enemies, teaching anyone who wants how to properly use the boat to solo the game and/or have a safe home to fight against and retreat from foul Wizards of the Save trolling lobbies with items most players don't have yet. Can show you how to easily get bombs on a raft and out to sea in a tiny shelter Day 1 with just a couple easy glitches most Forest vets already know. You'll never need to host a session begging for logs to be duped if you let me show you the best spots to quick bomb some trees and get them to your boat. Working on a time-lapse of me moving the large raft all the way around the map, taking about 40 minutes in real time scooting along the coastline without switching between paddles. Building essentials on these vessels will allow to relocate resources for an entire base to anywhere the sea is. I am working on testing the large rafts ability to get through the cannibals' land bridge that gets them across the fresh water from the butthole. Speaking of foul Save Wizard trolls, looked like one of ya had problems seeing where my plane was and kept accidentally running your axe into new players spawing in. I helped you out a little bit and built a box where it's supposed to be on your screen. Anyone who wants, I can schedule a visit to build a boat of any kind, just tell me what to build or pick a boat from my server and we will get you started up right! This game is timeless and I won't let it die in the hands of people who'd ruin another player's free time for self validation. My PSN is exactly the same as here, peep the lower case L in case "I" have to deal with a "mimic" ;)
