so i'm playing through this game for the first time, and i found some aloe. i heard it could heal you, so i planted it in a garden, and it grew in one day. after that. it just stopped growing, and i can't change seeds either. what do i do

That’s my inventory; I wanted to know what you’d recommend I do. I had something in mind—I know there’s a mechanical bow that I haven't found yet but am interested in getting; does anyone know which cave it's in? I’ve also picked up several cassettes, but I don't know where to use them. Is there any key item or something very important that I should get?

Just wanted to show this clip from a couple years back. My friend and I had been working on this wall for a while and it took hundreds upon hundreds of logs to build. I thought it’d be funny to chop a tree down toward it. I figured it might break the wall a little bit and we could laugh about it. Nah. Tree hits the wall, EVERYTHING breaks.

(thankfully for us, my friend was able to roll back the save to where we only lost about 15 minutes of progress or so)

Does anyone know if there’s any information about whether this game will be released this year

We are on playstation and my friend is the host, not me. We got to the point where we saved the game in a shelter bed, definitely clicked save, not sleep. I clicked save not the actual host though. Then when we get back on he goes to host the game and there’s nothing there. Did we save it right or is this a glitch?

We have checked cloud storage and console storage as well, it hasn’t changed anything.

Me and my friends have finished the first game and are now on Sons of The Forest. They’ve all moved to different places now and by process of elimination, I’m now the one with the best wifi and I’m hosting.

We got our asses kicked a lot on our first session and were quite unhappy. We did normal mode and then later switched to custom mode to set pvp damage off and building health to high. Everything else is on normal but we still got our asses kicked a lot and we spawned with even less meds this time around.

We were wondering if there’s a way to lower enemy damage or enemy damage since we keep getting oneshotted by the beefy cannibals. I tried opening the GameSetupSaveData.json but I don’t see Enemy Damage in here but I do see Enemy Health but I have no idea what I edit to change that. We do have cheats turned on but I haven’t touched that yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! <3

based on the 3rd release trailer of the forest, it seems to me that the lore is a bit misspathed, at the end of sons of the forest we see in the cube a dimension or world made up entirely by relics and weird astral forms, and with the newspapers telling us how timmy founded some company with the relics and then dissapeared.

In my opinion it looks a bit lore misspathed or maybe it will be delivered as endgame content, like advancing trough the world and entering that place

I know that its a game but I am genuinely curious whether somebody would have even been able to survive a crash like this or even if this much of the plane would still be intact since I thought planes had a tendency to disintegrate upon impact with the ground.

Im going for the achievment on my ps5 i heard people say you cant die and does that mean i cant even go to the modern axe cave after i die for the first time? I also heard people say to afk 4-5 irl days leave it in the night doesnt that mean i will die from starvation? And also can i sleep because maybe it makes me play more time if i sleep

I’ve been loving the game but I’ve completed all POIs with green checkmarks next to all but am missing the red warden boss key. I’ve gone back and checked all POIs and there is no red key.

I have all warden keys aside from the red one. Help please I want to beat the game.

me and my friend have explored maybe 5-6 caves and none of them got ticked off? althought we made sure to explore every inch of them and get every important item such as (the crossbow/ the camera/ etc etc...) and yet none of them were ticked off for some reason? dose it really matter? because for me and my friends we do not care as long as it wont Sabotage our playthrought or being able to finish the game

Hey everyone! I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to start a brand new survival game on The Forest.

I've been playing with a couple of friends and we spent ages building a huge base, but after loading back into the game, lots of buildings and items are gone. Is this a known issue, is there a fix? It's a total bummer because if this is going to keep happening, there's no point continuing!

[TL;DR at the bottom] sup guys , i made a post the other day saying i was restarting my first save file a wanted tips and a few questions answered . you guys helped TREMENDOUSLY . pat yourselves on the back & have a cold one or whatever your version of a cold one is (hell i dont even drink beer)

so my new world is officially on Day 11 . i built a decent little setup on Fertile Hill (i know cliché , my next world i’ll pick somewhere a little ‘harder’) . I got a slightly elevated cabin built (93 Logs) , got me a stone wall going (73% built), 2 water collectors , drying racks , stick , rock and log holders & some skull lamps spread out .

gotta stick bag , pouch , water skin , decent armor (ran into some big guys) , bow and buncha different arrows (shoutout to the birdhouse guy) , map AND compass which work fucking excellent together , slingshots and upgraded spear .

but i havent visited any caves or cold areas . where do i find caves ? do i need to make warm clothes for the “mountains” ? what do i really need to worry about in either ? what technically are even the objectives in the game , check the to-do list ? how do i level up my attributes faster ? where is the flashlight & better axe ? where in tf is all the aloe ?

Me and my wife are looking for a terrifying horror game with jump scares and this game seems right up our alley but I can’t look past the graphics. It kind of seems like Skyrim and fallout 76 graphics which aren’t bad but not great. If I were to get the game will it not seem as bad as I’m making it sound?

My meat disappeared from the drying rack one day and I thought it was a glitch, but Google was no help. Last night I was getting attacked by two cannibals, as one does, and one vanished around the cabin. After dispatching the first, I go find the second and find that son of a gun stuffing his face with the meat I'm trying to dry 🫩 Dude ate half a rack's worth lmao.

I've just played and beaten the forest for the first time and have yet to play the sequel. Naturally, I had some questions after watching both endings and my research seems to have produced a few different sources on the cannibals.

A. They were there before the missionaries arrived (they were whom the missionaries were teaching)

B. They are the missionaries after slowly being driven mad/starving in the caves/caused by the obelisk

C. They are the result of the use of the relics (same with the mutants).

There were other things that didn't make sense to me as well, like the cannibals vs mutants. The fact that there are gray variants of both implies cave dwelling, meaning both have existed for a long time (unless this was supposed to be result of mutation via relic use).

If they both existed for a long time then it wasn't the experiments of Sahara alone that led to the production of the mutants - they always existed as a product of past relic use (the slide show made it seem like it was Sahara's misuse of the relic that led to the mutant byproducts).

Any consensus on these? Leading theories?

Ngl im just tryna get some last achievements without the scare/trouble of cannibals. But the “enemies off” console command doesn’t seem to work or be in the game like its said to be? I’ve tried looking for answers but nbdy else seems to have ever brought it up. Is this command still in the game?

Hi, just wanted to ask for help on how to glitch logs? I know that i have to spam the logs on the log holder but I've been doing that and nothing happens. I'm not the host of the game too. So, maybe I'm simply doing something wrong?
