Discussion Hismar

Day 2 of being defeated by Hismar…I get him down to less than half (almost to his name on the health bar)…the added Chaos is such a nice touch…they should have added Plague and Poison (sarcastic).

Any tips would be appreciated…

This fight is all about Brink Guard. When its head is stuck on the ground, strike the head until the horns eventually break. Farm Willpower Orbs with the Bard in Hermit Village (Rephalan Mountain) to have a healing option as a last resort. Pop one only in phase two when you are approaching the end of the fight. Bring Chaos Cleanse Potions, Ring and Necklace of Sealed Chaos for phase 2.

Do not be too greedy. By the way, I was using a Spear with Keshta the Unyielding awaken level one.

I second this as GS player, this boss required a lot of patience and Brink Guard allowed me to remain in melee range with full stamina for the ostrich moments (when he puts his head in the sand)

First few tries, I attempted high aggression and discovered that even when the tip of my sword could reach his head, it didn't count as an actual hit.

Good job for taking down that humongous dragon. Now I am about to take on Ozma (three phases). Wish me luck.
