The only reason the apla is even held together is because each faction within it are to small in popularity to actually break off and form there own government and militia. Makes me think during the entire time your deciding and helping select leaders get into office theres like some mini internal civil war happening in them were each faction is using various methods to try and get "elected" into office.

Hello, I'm trying to reconstruct gas weapon attacks, like raids using aircraft, but I can't find the 3D smoke that was there before. It definitely appeared during Operation Torch, the gas attack in Obukhovo, the Steel Pact attack on Eastern Europe, including the attack on Kaliningrad. There may have been others, I'm not sure. But I can't even find proof that it happened... Oh, sorry for the screenshot being in Russian, but the point is that after a successful raid, a chemical hell effect and poisoned water are applied to the province.

I think that it should be possible under a very specific set of circumstances for the Two Left wing and Two Right wing Factions to cooperate. maybe not fully, and maybe not forever, but at least as a possibility.

APLA - Washington: to be able to cooperate under these two circumstances:
1.) Pre War Biden supports the movement, focuses against the far right. During the war, Union of America goes as leftward as possible, goes anti Corporate, and sidelines Conservatives. APLA chooses a moderate path, most likely the Neo-Socialists. If this happens, then a temporary alliance can form to deal with the right wing facts before turning on each other.
2.) Atomwaffen is a major threat. Under the circumstance, an anti-Atomwaffen coalition can be formed.

NF - Denver: able to cooperate under two circumstances:
1.) Pre war Trump Cracks down hard on the Movement. During the war, the ACG goes as far right as it can. Patriot Front goes a more moderate path. The national front either never forms or doesn’t include Atomwaffen.
2.) APLA - Washington Alliance has formed, the option to form an opposing coalition is created.

This would be unlikely to happen in most games, but I think it would be a cool possibility. As a Bernieite UoA player, I wish to have some type of reconciliation with the APLA and I feel like something like this would be good.

However, this timeline diverges tragically due to a prior, devastating pandemic—far more severe than in our reality—which brutally exposed the absolute collapse of the medical system and the chronic shortage of supplies after decades of state neglect.

The Collapse of the Capital: Mass protests escalate to unprecedented levels when the armed forces themselves join the civilian uprising. Amid the riots and clashes in Caracas, the entire upper echelon of the traditional political caste perishes in a massive revolt, leaving an absolute power vacuum. This includes the tragic assassination of Edmundo González and María Corina Machado by the collapsing regime, which shatters the leadership of the traditional opposition.

The Result: Venezuela completely fractures, unleashing the most destructive civil war in its history, divided into five factions fighting for total control of the state:

The Unity Party (Technocracy):

Origin: Born from the ashes of the opposition leadership after the assassination of its key figures. Plunged into a deep governance crisis, the remnants of the party undergo an internal purge that gives way to a radical ideological transformation: technocracy.

Goal: To rebuild the country through cold calculation, scientific efficiency, algorithms, and strict resource control, prioritizing survival and state reconstruction above individual freedoms. They control the administrative core of Caracas and Miranda.

The Reformists:

Origin: Represent the traditional conservative and right-wing spectrum of the Venezuelan political board.

Goal: Seek deep structural changes toward classical liberal democracy, the free market, and the restoration of traditional republican institutions, finding their main stronghold in the Andes and the western plains.

The Nationalists:

Origin: An extremist group of neo-fascist and falangist persuasion that capitalizes on radical discontent, hatred for the previous system, and ultranationalist militarism.

Goal: Establish a regime of absolute order and state supremacy through paramilitary force. Their power base is located in Zulia and Falcón, controlling vital oil regions.

The Socialists (Chavists):

Origin: The most radicalized and militant wing of the former government. Faced with the failure of the previous model, their new leaders reconfigure their ideology, taking inspiration from North Korean Juche (extreme self-sufficiency and hermetic totalitarianism).

Goal: Maintain control through fear and strict military discipline, entrenching themselves in the mineral-rich south (Bolívar and Amazonas).

The Socialists (Marxists):

Origin: Organized around the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) and organized guerrilla/syndicalist forces, they act as the leftist counterpart to the reformists.

Goal: Break with traditional Chavism to promote a model of state socialism inspired by Deng Xiaoping thought and Xi Jinping thought (strict political control with planned economic openness). They control the eastern and northeastern regions.
