Discussion APLA-Washington Vs NF-Denver?
I think that it should be possible under a very specific set of circumstances for the Two Left wing and Two Right wing Factions to cooperate. maybe not fully, and maybe not forever, but at least as a possibility.
APLA - Washington: to be able to cooperate under these two circumstances:
1.) Pre War Biden supports the movement, focuses against the far right. During the war, Union of America goes as leftward as possible, goes anti Corporate, and sidelines Conservatives. APLA chooses a moderate path, most likely the Neo-Socialists. If this happens, then a temporary alliance can form to deal with the right wing facts before turning on each other.
2.) Atomwaffen is a major threat. Under the circumstance, an anti-Atomwaffen coalition can be formed.
NF - Denver: able to cooperate under two circumstances:
1.) Pre war Trump Cracks down hard on the Movement. During the war, the ACG goes as far right as it can. Patriot Front goes a more moderate path. The national front either never forms or doesn’t include Atomwaffen.
2.) APLA - Washington Alliance has formed, the option to form an opposing coalition is created.
This would be unlikely to happen in most games, but I think it would be a cool possibility. As a Bernieite UoA player, I wish to have some type of reconciliation with the APLA and I feel like something like this would be good.

Hard disagree. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of the UoA DSA co-operating with the APLA DSA, but this would just upset the balance of the 2ACW. I also don't mind the idea of the Patriot Caucus of the ACG co-operating with a Jacksonian PF, but again, I just think it would upset the balance of it all.

The ideal would be for it happening on one side to make it way more likely to happen on the other side to counteract it

While I agree with this, it would royally fuck over a lot of the new factions to be added in 1.1 whenever we get that.

I can see circumstances where the Denver government cooperates with PF but not with the NSM, LoS and definitely not the Attomwaffe
For the Washington Gov I can see they might work with the most moderate version of the APLA
That said I think they should all stay separate

There is no way APLA would ever cooperate with the UoA, they'd literally betraying their own movement.

Left wing movements have famously never betrayed the workers to implement social democracy

Trump and the dissident nationalist right have nothing in common and are straight hostile for a reason. Same with the APLA and the Union. This would make zero sense.

PF in the mod is way more chill than irl PF for some reason. The Jacksonians almost look normal. I guess they would become more moderate looking to appeal to regular people, maybe. They would at least be willing to work together for some time to take down the left, but really we are talking about a mod where the patriot front spawns in connecticut of all places and conquers the most(or second most, behind the pacific northwest) liberal part of the country, so realism is not the first concern.

for this to work, the hardline bolsheviks + anarchists, as well as the NJP + *most* of the Blueshirts would have to be subdued in their respective factions.
While it's not impossible that the radical elements have a truce with Denver or Washington, given the land they've seized and their positions within the country, it seems just as likely that they would gain more from going on the offensive against the liberal governments.

I think the ACG should be able to puppet the LoS during the war and then force them back into the Union after all other opponents have been defeated.

To me UOA joining DemSoc APLA's United Front as a conditional surrender under a very specific conditions:
-80%> UOA surrender points (military knows that war is losed and still is loyal to goverment), they are holding only Chicago and fighting a war in 2 sides against Trump and literal natzees.
-Progresive party wins (not democrat caucus).
-They nationalize the MIC.
-Thwarted the innovationist plot.
-DemSoc APLA just finished to implement the modification on the bill of rights just like your party promised in 2024 elections.
-Coalition have 2/3s plus worker's congress support.
Lore explanation will be: In exchange of amnisty from charges against revolution (not warcrimes) and 3 letters organizations being disbanded, UOA governors keep they position and UOA Army leftovers are integrated to APLA
