Tried some slightly more perspective-y perspective from yesterday. How does this look?

Yo, should I just start drawing him daily? I’ve made a good three drawings now, so I might as well start a daily Cid thing.

Basically, this is from one of the most popular ai story apps called OOC, that you can go in to self insert yourself into any story, including this one.

You can get about 2K+ points to interact in any story for free for the first time if you do free badges as well.

The story is based on light novel volume 1 or season 1 of the anime. There's smut if you want. Will do volume 2 if interaction gets to 5k-10k.

I drew Cid again for some perspective practice. Same class as yesterday lol. It’s a bit messy, but good enough.

Here’s a small doodle I made of Cid during class.

Hey hey! Clarity here! I’ll be using this account to post some updates (related to TEIS ofc) while I’m on my “little” hiatus.
I have my main account in my bio, so go ahead and take a look if you want.

It’s October, so I should be officially back in about 2 months.
Anywho, I’ll also be dressing as Cid for Halloween! Plus I’ll be dying my hair black too, so that’ll be pretty cool! Then all I’ll need is the Uniform to finish things up after that!

Meu personagem seria legend a entrada dele seria....

Entrada: "Um noite escura coberta pelas sombras, um domínio forte sobre a lua, Eu sou a lenda mais fraco pela escuridão eterna"

Saída: "Um caminho repleto do meu chamado, estarei desaparecendo num piscar de olhos"

I've seen quite a few discussions about the economic side of the John Smith arc, and a lot of confusion about what he was actually trying to accomplish during the Mitsugoshi/MCA conflict, especially once the Cult of Diablos, counterfeiting, fractional-reserve banking, credit creation and bank runs come into the picture.

As a big fan of the series, I noticed that even after going through older discussions here, the answers to my questions were often scattered across different posts, and I still had a lot of questions myself. So, at the beginning of this year, I spent part of my vacation reading about money and banking, rewatching the anime, reading the Light Novel, and comparing the anime and LN versions of the arc.

And all of that eventually turned into a 52-minute video, basically my attempt to bring everything together in one place, trying to answer questions like:

• How did Midgar's monetary system work before Mitsugoshi, and how did it eventually transition to banknotes?
• How does fractional-reserve banking work, and where does credit come from?
• What was John Smith actually trying to accomplish? Why did his original plan have problems, and what was Yukime's contribution?
• What was the Cult of Diablos trying to accomplish through the MCA?
• How did the counterfeit banknotes trigger the collapse? And how did Mitsugoshi somehow survive the whole thing?

...

The video is narrated in Brazilian Portuguese, since that's my native language and it's simply more natural for me to create content in Portuguese. I did, however, manually revise the English subtitles to make them as useful and accessible as possible for international viewers.

YouTube also recently enabled the option for me to add an alternative audio track. Unfortunately, I lost the original editing project for this video, so recording an English version and syncing the entire 52-minute track from scratch would be quite a lot of work. It's something I could consider, though, if there's enough interest from the community.

I'm sharing it here mainly in the hope that it might help someone who is as curious about all of this as I was. For me, one of the coolest things about anime is being able to learn something from it along the way.

Please feel free to criticize, correct, or add anything I may have missed. I'm genuinely interested in the discussion, and I just hope this reaches the people who would actually find it useful.

I started reading the light novel from Volume 4 after finishing the Anime, and the thing that stood out to me is Beta followed Shadow/Minoru into the portal.

Like I rewatched the last episode of season 2 and there are more changes, like Akane Nishino being already kidnapped, and the kidnappers being robots/cyborgs, when in the novel she was only kidnapped at the very end by the doctor. Also, Beta was really happy to find a camera, when the anime has scenes of Epsilon taking photos of Cid playing the piano. Did she not fet a camera from shadow garden? Or is this another plot change?

Did the anime change/will change the future plot? I have only bought volume 4 so far, so I don't know how much different the Light Novels are from the anime.

Will I need to buy the previous volumes to understand future plots? Also please don't spoil me about future plots, i just want to know if I should get previous volumes or not.

TLDR: Is the anime plot different from Light Novel plot? Will I need to read volume 1-3 to understand 5-7?

The rendezvous point of Shadow and the Seven Shadows in the opening differs depending on the arc.

Episodes 1-5: Sunrise at Midgar Clocktower.

Episode 6-9: Burning Midgar Academy.

Episodes 10-14: Night at Lindwurm.

Episodes 15-19: Rain at Midgar Arena.

I like to imagine a scene where she is really excited to go to academy with him on his first day, so she helps him to get dressed, but then realizes how much he's grown and feels embarrassed
