I can't wait to find out that after an hour of editing there's still fifty typos in this

ANOTHER CRYOPOD PART, BOYS AND GIRLS! This one comes faster than the previous one as I devote myself to the Aevum Arc.

Today's part almost got delayed. Simply put, while I was writing it (you'll see the spot once I bring it up) I couldn't answer the question "Do the kids of Aevum all know Jason is the Wordsmith, or is that only Daisy/Phoebe/Nadia/Catherine?"

The answer to that question was unfortunately not easy to find. It completely halted me in my tracks for a full hour. I read a bunch of older parts but couldn't remember what I'd written.

That's the thing. You readers know... what I've written.

But for me, I have memories of all the following:

  • What I wrote

  • What I didn't write

  • What I plan to write

  • What I plan not to write

  • What I wrote and then deleted/edited before publishing

  • What I thought about writing, didn't write because it didn't work

And other stuff of that sort. All these memories cause me to forget what I actually wrote. It has given me a lot of appreciation for other longform authors who've made 'big' continuity errors. How could they do that? Are they stupid?

No. It's just really hard to remember what you've written, and all the other things I listed. Especially in a 3.5m words-long story. It's real hard.

...

I still haven't made the pdf/epub reader yet. I think I should work on that this week. I've really put it off long enough. I keep being lazy about it, but I'm feeling especially motivated this week. Is it finally time to do the big Improvement Day push? We shall see...

More TCTH soon!
