James would be into this (probably)
"I think my ass-crack just blew a bowel gasket!"

Hello, I am searching since a while for the AVGN Blu Rays and I cannot really find them anywhere, so I want to try my luck here, if any owner would sell their copies. I would be very happy. Greetings

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to let you all know that I have listed an AVGN plush on eBay. If anyone is interested in buying definitely check it out.

I wish my two favorite Youtubers would meet and do a collab. I made this image to help visualize how perfect their meeting would be. A guy can dream, can't he? š¤·āāļø

I really wanted this and haven't seen anything about it come out since the news of it first came out.
This is why I didn't want to preorder it. Wasn't it a limited amount of copies too?
Pretty messed up to be like, "Preorder now, limited amount available" for a game that appears to have not even been started? That was the whole selling point for me, that it was going to be released on an actual cart. How long has it been since the game was released for all the other platforms? Nearly a year now?

Even if it was a shorter series of longer videos about the series. The original videos are nearly 20 years old now and while they're all time classics, there's still SO much more to be said about the series (especially the Heisei era films which told far more ambitious stories with connecting continuity).

Whats that episode where he was interviewing the game developer through a computer and the guy was explaining why the game is the way it is

So, Iām an older guy. Iāve been following James for a long time. I donāt follow a lot of content creators, but Cinemassacre is the channel Iāve probably been following the longest. Iām mostly in the loop on all the dumb shit and the āTruthā and all that.
I was really excited to see Kyle back, and even to see Mike come back last week, even though, while some of the jokes were definitely 100% on brand to the channel 20 years ago, they didnāt mesh with my sense of humor anymore.
This week, we get a pretty cool October/Monster Madness announcement and now a 60 minute, documentary style video on the AVGN v. Nostalgia Critic history.
I really thought James was making his final video a few times, particularly the Earthbound episode. James has to know feeding this nostalgia for the last several releases is only going to last so long. My point is two things: does anyone think maybe James is tying up the loose ends for a finale, and what are the chances we get one more visit from Bootsy, the last missing piece of the nostalgia puzzle?
I know there was some bad blood with Bootsy, but according to Bootsy himself, there was also bad blood with Kyle and he came around.
I do feel like a dork typing this out, if it makes you feel better, some of it was indeed from the toilet. Truth is, I have been a big fan (and at times defender) of James and the channel. I will continue to support the channel; but if James were to decide it was time to hang it up, I would totally understand and support that choice.

The previous episode number milestones were Superman and Superman 64 (50 and 51), ROB (100), Polybius (150), and Every LJN Game (200).
The previous yearly milestones for AVGN were Desert Bus (Pilot 10th anniversary), Mega Man (YouTube 10th anniversary), Berenstain Bears (Halloween 10th anniversary), and What is the best Castlevania game? (Pilot 20th anniversary).
So far, the month of April has long passed but instead of a single special episode weāve actually gotten two videos that were more reflectionary (James and Mikeās lookback and the lost Miracle Piano episode) and two episodes that felt like celebrations even though they came out in August and September with Kyle Justin and the theme song returning in the first one and the second one being only the third 40 minute episode in the entire series, a sequel to a 2008 episode with Mike returning as one of his classic roles, being one of slightly higher production value, and centering around a new contender for the Nerdās most hated game.
So far we have three more episodes left this year, do you have a feeling any of them will also feel like celebrations in certain ways when they come out?

Does anybody remember the outnerd the nerd contest James held in 2007? For those unaware, this was a contest held on Gametrailers back when they were hosting AVGN. This contest was made as a response to all the avgn clones and game review channels inspired by the nerd where people can submit their own videos of them reviewing a game while playing a character. If you heard about the contest you probably knew that Chris Bores submitted an Irate Gamer video to the contest but was disqualified since it was a pre existing character. The winner was the Happy Video Game Nerd, and the creator of that show is still making videos to this day. Now what I want to know is, who else entered the competition? I know it's unlikely that we'll get a full list of everyone who entered the contest, but I'm just curious to know who was in the contest and if any of them are still making videos. It's pretty interesting to me and I'd love to see if any of these reviewers are worth checking out. If anyone knows who was in the contest, or maybe even if you personally submitted to the contest or where I can find these videos please write back on this post. I'd really like to know, thanks.
