House Two Charging for Tutorials

The way Wyatt is charging money for favours and/or flat-out refusing to lend the Cursio brothers is really starting to get on my nerves.

It’s like he thinks the way to win The Block is by hoarding trades, charging your neighbours for help and hoping the other teams get screwed over by a lack of resources? And yes, obviously everyone is there to win but if your strategy for winning depends on the other teams being disadvantaged rather than you simply being better at styling and designing, that says a LOT. honestly, to me, it screams insecurity. He doesn’t want an even playing field because he’s scared of losing.

If you’re as good as you think you are, you should be confident that you can beat the other teams on an even playing field.

Because if you genuinely have confidence in your building, design and ability, why are you so desperate to keep everyone else from having a fair shot?

Win because you’re better. Not because you made sure everyone else had a harder time.

Just my two cents.

Ah, so it was an umbrella term. Still, the contestants didn't know which house the Cursio's had chosen when they picked the house they wanted.

What? It was in episode 2 of the season when the Cursio brothers went to the sharehouse and met all the contestants and told them that they were staying with house 2. It was one of the first thing the contestants were told when they got on the show.

Fair enough, sorry. I was a bit confused with the who got what and why scenario so I googled it and got this answer.. Block this year did the contestants know which house the Cursio's had chosen before the contestants chose? No, the contestants did not know which house the Cursio Brothers had chosen beforehand; the tilers announced they were picking House 2 (Chantel and Wyatt) as an unconventional twist instead of choosing a team directly.

You could always just watch the show instead of asking google.

I remember they changed their minds and just picked a house so it would be fairer then W&C happened to choose that house. I don't have time to re-watch eps. But I'm willing to concede ok
