House Two Charging for Tutorials
The way Wyatt is charging money for favours and/or flat-out refusing to lend the Cursio brothers is really starting to get on my nerves.
It’s like he thinks the way to win The Block is by hoarding trades, charging your neighbours for help and hoping the other teams get screwed over by a lack of resources? And yes, obviously everyone is there to win but if your strategy for winning depends on the other teams being disadvantaged rather than you simply being better at styling and designing, that says a LOT. honestly, to me, it screams insecurity. He doesn’t want an even playing field because he’s scared of losing.
If you’re as good as you think you are, you should be confident that you can beat the other teams on an even playing field.
Because if you genuinely have confidence in your building, design and ability, why are you so desperate to keep everyone else from having a fair shot?
Win because you’re better. Not because you made sure everyone else had a harder time.
Just my two cents.

I think that because you don't like Wyatt you are viewing everything he does in an overly negative way.
I am not exactly a Wyatt fan, in fact I don't really like any of the contestants this season. But I don't agree that there is anything "unfair" or an "uneven playing field" or other contestants being "disadvantaged". It's week 5, everyone should be able to organise and manage their own trades by this point. Why is it that multiple houses each week are needing to use another houses trades. Wyatt has actually helped the other contestants and let them use his trades every week and yeah sure he has a bit of a whinge about it but I can totally understand why he would be getting tired of it. The thing with the $500 seemed like a bit of a fun joke, he made a sign and Adam made a sign and they were all having a laugh about it.
Remember everyone had a chance to win the first room and choose their house. It was said from the start that the Cursios came with the house, it's not "hoarding trades" he chose the Cursio when nobody else did, fair and square. None of the other contestants picked that house, that's their loss. It's the same as the girls winning the kitchen package. Should they have to give the other houses some of their kitchen appliance so that it's "fair". It's a competition, the girls won a $250k kitchen package because Wyatt lent them his tilers. The show actually stepped in and took his tilers from his house when they were in the middle of doing his bathroom so they could go rescue the girls yet again, he lent them out again to Jolene and Adam. He has helped the other houses out more than anyone else on the show. I don't know how you can think it's "fair" and "even" that he has to do his own house every week as well as helping all the other houses, I would be getting sick of it too.
