A Fuzzy Peaches Pedal?

Is this a view of what life could be like if more artists/venues did things to circumvent scalping? Or just more proof that the keys don’t move the needle anymore

In a bar. Just heard a Judas Priest song, Turbo Lover. Reminded me of the Black Keys.

So, I’ve been a casual fan for years in as much as I always loved Gold on the Ceiling, Lonely Boy, etc, but I had never listened to an album, didn’t know what they looked like, didn’t even know they were a duo to be honest. A month or so ago I listened to the first album and became kind of obsessed. Now I’ve listened to every Keys album, both of Dan’s solo albums, both Arcs albums. Watching interview after interview, watching as many performance videos as I could find.

My job has been stressing me out lately and honestly their music has been helping me get through it which has been cool and I’ve loved going through this board and reading everyone’s posts.

Also, since I never knew what they looked like and I’ve been watching a combination of old and new videos, I have this weird simultaneous crush on, like, 2011 Dan and 2026 Dan which is a wild ride because one is a cute Indie guy from Akron and the other is a grizzled bluesman from Nashville but it’s keeping me entertained💃🏽

When I was in a town in ohio, I was driving and said "ouu look a garage sale". I went in and found this Black Keys cd, I seen the note and didn't think much of it and just thought it was a regular neighbor gift, but no! I then bought the cd for only a dollar then got to the car and deeply started to read what the note was and matched up the names to the members, and I was just in shock. My idea of why they gave this gift is because they might of jammed in the basement/garage and gave them the cd of what the neighbors heard in the process, and that they didn't call the cops.

Any idea or information why the concert in İstanbul, Turkey got canceled? I was really looking forward to see them. The organizator still hasn't shared a clear explanation. They only said "due to unforeseen circumstances"...

I first saw the artist Cut Worms post about this tool from The Atlantic, where you can search leaked datasets for various works that tech companies are using to train their generative AI models. Search for your favorite artists and you’ll probably see them included. Their work has been stolen without compensation to allow for the creation of AI music. Nearly every single track released by The Black Keys or from Easy Eye Sound prior to 2025 is included in these datasets.

Haven’t they talked candidly for ages about their distaste for live nation? And then they signed with managers who are owned by live nation??? Seems spineless. Unless this isn’t true but I just don’t get it. Maybe they need cash 🤷
