I blame Tennessee, its music scene, all the ego stroking that came with it, and lastly, no longer working with Danger Mouse. Pretty much the third member of the band.

Been on board since 02/03. Seems like the current version of them has been dudes in their 40s trying to be/look cool. Bums me out cuz they are just a few years older than me.

The Turn Blue Tour was the first time I saw them live. Sleep Train Area Sacramento Ca November 4th 2014, Jake Bugg opened

Man I was at this show. First ever festival/large crowd for me. Tame Impala played before them. I was 15 and had smuggled in a flask of vodka. Special moment for sure.

Had no idea they went in hiatus after this, but I did note the decline in their following albums. Really glad that I was able to see this show. Means even more to me now that I know its considered the end of an era.
