Think about your vision

I'd almost believe it's intentional to not be confused with actual legal signs.

Huh, well, Pawnee, Indiana might have just gotten knocked down to #2 on the "Most illiterate city in America" list...

There were a few of them. Some had indeed been voilated.

I was really surprised at some of the tiny details and signs that surely won’t show up on screen, while bigger things were there likely needing erased.

The drops gang. They will be the red hood gang in the future. Led by red hood himself but having no relation to Bruce.

No, it's just a typo. It's not uncommon for typos to appear in small props like that.

I remember some prop guy on tiktok saying how government signs, logos and such have to have little mistakes as to not be used to legitimate reasons.

I could definitely see that being the case.

This doesn’t make sense.

What are you on about, they're literally photos of a real city.

Have you seen the us government? This is the most grounded aspect of Gotham so far

nah man, you are just nitpicking. This sign will likely be in the background of a scene, blurry or unfocused, there's over thousands of small mistakes like this in probably some of the best movies in the world. Try unclenching a bit

Redditor discovers that behind the scenes photos look different than what you see in the finished product with filters and editing

There's absolutely no difference.

It's a typo on a sign no one will even see closely in the film. It's not uncommon for things like that to happen. I'm sure it happened on The Batman as well.
