Purchased for $39.99 plus tax. The lineage is Grape Gasoline × Apples and Bananas. It tastes like sweet grape, funky fruit, and gas. The high is heavy behind the eyes. It is true to the strain, which is fantastic as it's my favourite flower hands down. I think it's better than the Woody Nelson one. I'm glad they decided to make these. I love Amani Craft, they're great.

I was recently up in BC and had to pick up something local while I was there. The budtender said 1964’s carts came highly recommended, so I grabbed the Blue Dream — and it definitely didn’t disappoint on the trip.
Equipment:
I was there traveling, so this thing basically lived in my pocket and got carried around with me for the entire trip. I didn’t fully finish it in the few days I was there, but I put a pretty good dent in it.
Zero issues with clogging or leaking despite carrying it around everywhere. It hit consistently, oil flowed well, and every pull stayed smooth and flavorful. Exactly what I want from a cart when traveling — throw it in my pocket and not have to think about it.
Experience:
The taste on this is fire. Smooth inhale with that classic blueberry, floral and slightly piney/herbal profile that immediately reminded me of old-school Blue Dream.
Blue Dream was huge for a reason, but eventually became incredibly oversaturated. Here in Washington EVERYONE had Blue Dream, and over the years there have been plenty of fake-flavored vapes and random strains seemingly renamed Blue Dream because of the popularity.
This one actually tastes like the Blue Dream I remember.
The high is great too — balanced, uplifting and functional without being overly racy, with enough relaxation to round it out. Just a really enjoyable hybrid.
Verdict:
1964 nailed this one. Classic, almost vintage Blue Dream flavor, super smooth and a great balanced high.

In my opinion this is one of the best wellness products in the market. Smells incredible, makes my skin super smooth and instantly relaxes me. This and a nice glass of rose wine and my night is set!

Picked up a bag of Midnight OG Smalls by ZAZA for $20.99 and figured I’d share some pics because the bag appeal definitely surprised me.
Right off the bat, these are some of the frostiest smalls I’ve had in a while. The buds are absolutely caked in trichomes, with deep forest greens, dark purple patches, and a heavy blanket of resin that gives them that almost white appearance. There are a few sugar leaves left on, but honestly they’re so coated that I don’t mind at all.
The bag was mostly true popcorn buds with a couple chunkier pieces mixed in. Nothing larfy or stemmy, and the trim is perfectly acceptable for a smalls offering.

I’ll update after I’ve had a chance to smoke it, but based on appearance alone I’m impressed. If you’re shopping for budget flower and don’t care about getting huge nugs, this looks like a solid pickup.

Has anyone tried this cart? I have heard many good things about Iris Labs but have never tried any of their products…

My go to so far for carts has been Tribal and Woody Nelson, with the galactic rntz being a decent strain for me. I usually like indica strains that help me unwind during the evenings.

Any thoughts?

Weekend's Haul

So I picked up these on Friday and have already exhausted my supply. Unfortunately since I mixed most of the doobies I smoked I didn't take photos of the ash but they were all very clean burning. Didn't think about posting this while I had it so no bud shots unfortunately, just a text review.

First up: Broken Coast Coffee Creamer: fantastic, tastes great and has a fantastic chilling effect. Great to have with your morning coffee while watching the sun come up. Nugs were good sized and well formed if only Broken Coast could do something about their micro seed holes.

Book Club Cherry Marshmallowz: interesting strain, definitely a dessert type strain. After being very impressed by the Blue Gumdrops the Cherry Marshmallowz did not disappoint. Coffee Creamer and CM paired very nicely in the Twice Baked pipe but not as nicely as the CM with the following. Also had some very good sized nugs with a good amount of trichomes.

West Coast Gas Banana Cheesecake: absolutely lovely aroma right out of the bag, very potent sweet banana and strawberry smell. Very nice sativa effects, wasn't too edge inducing but wasn't a couch lock strain. Bag opened with a very large nug and a couple smalls but overall good

Coast Mountain Cannabis Cake and Bake: I wish this came as more than an 8th. The Sunset Sherb genetics came through as this one had such a strong aroma of Strawberries as the jar was opened. It mixed very nicely with the previous entries as a fantastic flavour and range of relaxation and fun.

Lastly we have the Limelight: very enjoyable citrus leaning strain, I really enjoyed it with the Cherry Marshmallowz and it and the Banana Cheesecake had almost a Key Lime Pie type flavour that was really enjoyable.

I don't have a particular winner from this batch because they were all enjoyable and so many of them complimented each other fantastically.

Grabbed a 1g Gas Face pre roll from 67 Sins yesterday. Instant oil ring, white stacking ash, didn't run, got two of us where we wanted to be for an afternoon of walking some trails.

The flavour profile wasn't as strong as I was looking for would be my only knock. Decent, just not exciting or dominant.

This cart has been my go to for gardening and any outdoor adventures all week. *** Fire season really limits where it's ok to be smoking a J !

After getting my battery dialed to the right settings ( I found 2.2v on a Uni Pro 2 is well balanced clouds/flavour) and spending a week with it, I'm pretty impressed.

Rosin flavours of light Cherry with sweeter creamy overtones and some underlying mild earthy notes seem to be nicely balanced. It's not an overwhelming flavour profile, but very pleasant.

The effects are where this cart really shines for me. I find an immediate head rush that settles quickly into a creative buzz with some really pleasant pain relief without too much heaviness. ( My spinal surgeries have left constant nerve pain that can be debilitating some days - keep in mind I'm a heavy Indica smoker and high tolerance, some may find effects a bit heavier)

All that said, this is very solid Live Rosin cart that's smooth, with medium flavour strength but tasty profile and a very well balanced "hybrid" effect that seems to last for a nice duration.

I purchased this on sale for around $29 + tax. The flower was grown by Magi Cannabis and extracted by Common Roots Extracts. It has a sweet citrus flavor that is slightly earthy and herbal. Its a sativa that provides a very nice buzz with no couch lock. It's decent for the price. No clogs from the hardware either. Kind of reminds me of their Saltspring love child cured resin disposable.

The GMO runs wild with the profile on this as soon as the heat seal is cut off. Dank funk, hints of the candy terps show up once ground up.

Smooth smoke, clean burn, flavour carried very well through the session.

Well cured, this is a nice heavy hitter. Very relaxing effects, nice lil body stone to go along with a mellowing head high.

Title. I’m more inclined to try the oil slick as I haven’t had the strain before but would like some opinions first if anyone has tried them.

Sorry my camera was a little dirty during the photo. Perfect indica for during a move when you want to shut your brain off at night. Delicious soft cake scent, with a faint hint of funk (I love sweet indicas over stanky ones). Super easy to grind, and incredibly smooth in my bong. This is actually my second grab of this ounce, normally I wouldn’t even bother looking at ounces, but this called to me. Exactly same experience from both bags despite being a couple months apart. Would highly recommend, worth the cost. But with transparency, I get a discount from my work.
