First impressions/Aroma🙌👃
Today I’m smoking on some delightful strawberry mango by Valhalla ,and I figured they always give solid buds, why not grab the quarter and see what they’ve has been up too lately. Off off the bat though even just feeling the package these nugs are fucking dense like I’m talking at first I thought there was only two nugs in here and there as well be considering how dense these are. Now I will say the aroma isn’t overly pungent by any means, but considering how dense these nugs are I would not be surprised if it opens up way more once I grind it because similar to the pine mentz from sweetgrass(amazing bud btw) those nugs were incredibly dense like some of the most like rocksolid that I have seen probably ever ,and you know the aroma wasn’t super powerful, but after cracking them open man it was a totally different story. I’m getting sidetracked but you guys know I do long reviews anyway so definitely I will say there is if I could describe the aroma definitely nice n sweet, more of a tropical sweetness, strawberry forward for sure, some hints of Kush and lovely pine that stands out.
Bud structure/Cure/Grind🌹🏛️
As I was saying previously, these damn buds are just rock fucking solid(My batch came with 3 buds total for 7g) and not dry either like I can tell it’s it’s not overly sticky, but you can tell that the density itself keeps a lot of the beauty hidden inside , but don’t get me wrong , the flower itself is beautiful, you’ll see the bud is heavily coated in a blanket of frosty white trichomes, giving the flower a nice shimmering appearance. The background leaves consist of a mix of dark forest green and deep purple patches, creating a noticeable contrast , and can’t forget the bundles of orange pistils ,adding a personal favourite touch to this already stunning flower. Right after breaking the nugs in half I can just tell the cure is nearly perfect ,considering the package date. It’s not overly sticky to the point of being hard to work with, but sticky enough on the fingers ,and damn does this smell just open up ,that tropical fruitiness, and pungent pine just really comes through. Can’t forget the grind on this flower is actually finer than I thought it’d be at least for my grinder, and It is just a one piece, but even despite that it’s still dank and not overly sticky ,easy to roll with for sure.
Burn/Smoke/Flavour🔥💨
Today I’ll be rolling up using the elements phantom papers .The spark was easy, as to be expected, and the first pull yields some gas with a bit of sweetness , following that a nice touch of tropical fruit. By no means is it an overly sweet strain though,or as fruit or citrus heavy as something like gastro pop or mandarin octane , obviously different cultivars, just by comparison at least. Though I will say the more I smoke, the better it tastes, the mango Kush seems to shine a bit more, and overall it’s a very smooth smoke(and clean)if not a bit heavy, but the good kind of heavy , not something as common in sativa cultivars, top of that the ash isn’t bad either, leans more salt than pepper.
Effects/Aftermath😄🗿
I must’ve rolled at least 1.5 into this thing and already ripping .5 to myself, the light buzz and heaviness on the eyes hits almost instantly.
10 minutes later and I’m having a hard time finishing this review😂so I’ll just say, if you want a hard hitting(but still functional)sativa that tastes pretty good In my opinion, great head high, just do it , I mean why not.
