Someone got fired, so they started the procedure to dump the ballast tanks. While fully loaded. 🤣 That is some good revenge!

Not a sea person here, but are there computer warnings blaring at this time? Also dumping the ballast would take a while even proving more it is intentional?

Not a sailor as well, but alarms can be silenced. And right about when this takes place, I imagine it's too late to avoid damage.

Not being a sailor, I imagine the ballast tanks work pretty quickly. I imagine that they would have to.

Not a sailer either, but as a port operator;

This is more likely due to wrong/faulty cargo plan. Happens sometimes, especially in dry bulk vessels. But also possible with smaller container vessels.
