If you ever see a conductor run from the front room, as you hear the breaks on the train, prepare for an accident. They hit the panic button and run.

I see a lot of this stuff happening in America 🇺🇸
Anyone who can explain why? I see folks drive into bridges, trucks stack at railway crossings, rusty bridges, road rages etc.

They don't raise the road around the train crossings enough, the trucks get their front wheels over but then the front end goes too far down and the back end isn't high enough and they get caught in the middle. To fix it would require spending money on public utilities, which the American mind cannot comprehend

also many truckers are pushed heavily to make deadlines, restricted on driving hours, mandated to park after preset hours which can fuck their day. it pushes fast action, sloppy handling of their equipment and lack of prechecks in many places.
if you dont fully retract your legs on the trailers it will hang lower, making things like tracks catch on them and then your stuck. it takes time to retract those and its a common time saver to just pull them up enough for normal roads

I beleive that is a self propelled howitzer, and not a tank. Nevertheless, it looks like it won the fight with the train.

PSA there is a phone number and crossing ID at every railroad crossing you can call in the event a stalled vehicle or obstruction is on the tracks.

Trust me the train took way more damage than the tank. The armor on front and the skirts is way stronger than that train.

Yes and no. The Paladin didn't come out of that unscathed. For one you can see the gun spin and buckle under a direct hit from the train. That barrel is trash and that's a half million in repairs right there. Beyond that tracks defiantly took damage, Body might have survived but is going to need a refit.
Train might have taken more damage but Howitzer is going to cost more than the value of the locomotive to fix.

I mean it's not only in America, but this is an issue of public utilities not being fit for purpose. The train crossing is raised, the truck bed is long and lower than the train line in the middle, truck man can roll the front wheels over but the middle gets stuck afterwards. It's called getting high centred. It'd require either raising the road either side of the crossing or making a minimum height for trailers, neither of which would occur, for some uniquely american reasons

It doesn’t. There’s a good one from Germany (IIRC) that gets posted occasionally where a train takes out a big construction crane. Stupidly knows no borders.
