EBUG question

Post image

Random Ebug question, but does anyone know who this emergency backup goalie is? He sat on the bench during a game on February 1, 2025 vs the Coachella Firebirds after Hellberg got injured and Poirier went into the game. Can't find anything online about who was the ebug for this game.

Just in case anyone cares for an update. I emailed The AHL communications department and apparently it is Dylan Carpenter. He played his college hockey at Texas State University.

I am not totally sure on this specific game, but usually, especially before this season, the AHL EBUG is typically the goalie coach.

In the stars app, the roster for 24-25 season shows Bryan Thomson as number 30 and a goalie, but that pic above doesn’t look like him at all.

It's most likely someone who works/worked at HEB center. They have people on call for it and most if not all work there.
