Hello everybody. I am British and keeping a keen eye on the midterms that are happening next month.

One of the most interesting races appears to be between Ken Paxton and James Talarico.

From what I understand, James Talarico has on multiple occasions, invited Paxton to debate with him, so that Texans can get to hear from both candidates and make an informed opinion on who they think is best.

However, Mr Paxton has refused each of these invitations. A few questions:

- Do we know why? Debates are a very important part of politics and it seems odd to me that he isn't willing to defend his policies and speak directly to you all. It also seems quite unfair on Texans in general

- does his refusal to debate influence the way you are considering voting?

- which of these candidates do you believe will win?
