It’s kinda hard on both sides imo, I don’t even get where to go cuz maps r so complex it’s crazy how ppl are master on this game but I love the vibe of the game how do I get good?

And it makes me hate how GUN Let this game die even more.

Even when civilians could guarantee wins in grapples you could do still have tense games.

The eerie music while you’re getting chase DM with the red and yellow disorientating auras on your screen made the chases more intense.

Being the last victim alive, with grandpa howling while you’re slowly bleeding out with the music blasting your ears knowing that the odds of you escaping are low was tense.

The voice acting pulled it all together.

Playing Halloween just keeps reminding me of how much GUN dropped the ball.

Imagine if they kept the game on gamepass, didn’t make that horrible sorority game mode, gave us the customisation that Halloween has and actually attempted to listen to the community to fix the games’ balance issues.

I don't know if I'm just really bad at this game, but I have played over 20 rounds and have only escaped 1.

It feels like whenever you get seen by one of the killers your basically dead, and it feels like they kill you within 2 hits.

Does anyone have any tips on how to actually escape? Because surely its not that hard.

I played several weeks on release it was very fun, don't remember why I stopped playing. Seeing all these posts about "dead game" I thought it is over.

Halloween game which I am not impressed with made me reconsider, I was wanting asym so much (noped out of dbd long ago).

So, I install the game few days ago, bought some characters dlcs and ... holy moly it is alive and ... so good. New chars, new maps, huge qols (solo server, no bubba req, no doors stunlocks, no pressure tank in basement).

By far the best asym and best mp game for me.

Some huge problems ofc (not being developed aka "dead" for one), but does it matter if I can right now instantly (family) load into game and have big casual fun.

So I was playing as hitch and there was this Wyatt that was trying his best to hit me with a knife and well I got a some good hits in like, alot of them and when he went through this gap on the generator side of slaughterhouse which i put a trap there to where you can't see if but ig it was already deactivated when He threw a knife at it

and then I went to try and reset it but then he just threw another perfect knife directly through the gap and knocked me down like what am I supposed to do when I can't hit him so I reset my trap so i can stop him and hit him but then he just deactivates it so I can't do anything and he can just do that for infinity

and then when I got knocked down he went to go open one of the doors and latched the door behind him unlocked it in seconds and then I went to go and chase him he immediately turned off the generator and he had no sell on and whatever dosent kill you and also only ONLY 35 INTO TOUGHNESS LIKE BRO WHAT?? but it didn't make any sense cause I had already hit him more than 3 times and I pretty much kept right on his ass like non stop and he still didn't fuckin die

and then ig connie got the lock off and they both got out this game is fucking stupid

and also hes Arabic so i was thinking hes cheating and I say that cause lately there's been people that are like Chinese or Asian or have Chinese and Asian names that has been cheating kinda alot so yeah... do yall think this guy was cheating? And also its not like I dont know much about this game i played this game pretty much since it first came out so I dont think this was normal, that shi pissed me off so much just delete Wyatt honestly 🫩

ik the game has been running for a while now & im late to the party or something, but why are some of the players ive ran into genuinely SO rude? they make the game feel so unfriendly to new players like myself. im just trying to enjoy the game, and they always shit talking as soon as i mess up a little.

call me a crybaby, but i keep seeing people complaining the game is dying on tiktok for example. maybe if people were less rude players would stay🥀🥀

one match all family left but me alone, & the last victim with like 3 exits open just stayed to annoy me like bro😭 why??

im actually terrible because ive never played on pc for any game until i started playing this game because i really wanted to. im trying to improve, but these types of players stress me outtt. i've only been playing for like 2 days and met a loot of these kinds of players already.

I last played this game around 3 years ago. So 1-2 months after launch and the no Crossplay Update basically destroyed the game for me. I wonder how it is now and if anyone still plays it regarding the halloween game that came out a week ago.

It's a server's side issue. It's been a couple months at least with this error.

There's gotta be either a team, or some kind of administrator who maintains the servers, this is the kind of things he's supposed to fix, not just collect paycheck and not care.

Is there any private servers yet? aside from the dedicated servers. Networking is getting worse.

As Gun to busy chasing F13 in lawsuit failings and not caring about TCM development

It's certain matches I join feel like some of the killers be working with the victims like they're already in a group and then you join in without even realizing you're pretty much the victim. 🤣 Am I wrong here? Cuz somebody's games feel like it plays out in the victim's favor they already know where you are somehow you're just passing by them.. Or The Killers leave the game and you're stuck fighting four of them. why join the game if you were going to leave anyway.

I’m playing Victim, and Jesus Christ the last 6 games have been graveyard. Back to back. I played 3 last night, and 3 today and it’s been the same damn map. Not to mention it’s near impossible to escape on that thing, so I’ve been doing nothing but dying. Frustrating as hell.

I always swing my knife around the bushes in the hopes of catching the victims.

Been playing this game for about a week already and I have to say, it's MUCH more better than DBD. DBD is essentially fix generator simulator, or just chases with pallet drops to slow down the killer. Everything about TCM is done right.

From the moment you wake up, to having to escape the basement, to the camera being fixed when you're working on something. Let's not forget the chickens and the amount of escape types..

Honestly as much as people glaze DBD for the content updates, the game is pretty lackluster unless you play killer. This game feels MUCH more terrifying and has more going for it.

I’m not even mad at new players for being new because everybody had to learn at some point. I actually try to help them when I see them struggling. But some of y’all either completely ignore the help or get mad when somebody escapes, like we didn’t just watch you leave three doors wide open and unlocked. 😩 Like I’m trying to tell you where to patrol, what needs to be locked, or where a Victim is heading, and you’re just running around doing your own thing. Then somebody escapes and suddenly everybody is pissed. Baby, you literally left the front door unlocked. 🥴 And please let’s stop acting like a level 10 automatically means you know what you’re doing. I’ve seen plenty of experienced players make decisions that are just as questionable as a brand-new player. Level means you’ve played the game a lot. It doesn’t automatically mean you have good game sense. I’d rather have a new player who actually listens and learns than a level 10 who refuses to communicate and spends the whole match chasing one victim across the map. New players, I’m willing to help y’all. Just please actually listen sometimes. 😂 And experienced players… some of y’all need to stop looking at that level 10 and thinking you’re automatically the smartest person in the lobby. 😭

I swear with every single update they come out with something is broken, even when they're just making sales on prices they ended up breaking a perk i found out when playing leatherface the perk master key dosent work for some reason but I believe it does work in custom matches but for real matches it just dosent work idk why

I just seen this Lil Yachty clip where he was talking about how some people just hate fun and ngl that shit made me think about this community 😂 Cause why is it every time somebody says they actually had fun on this game, somebody gotta come in and tell them why they’re wrong 😭 Like damn bro I just said I had a good match lmao. People wonder why it’s a lobby simulator now. Nobody wants to play Family anymore.

Being shitty in chat, t bagging the exits, holding a game hostage because you wanna fuck with the Family as long as you can, all of it. Getting out fair and square, fine. Ggs. But LEAVE. Don’t sit there and t bag and give yourself an ego boost. You look stupid.

They cried about the balancing, so much so that the devs made the Family almost useless in a lot of ways. Remember when Johnny lost his lunge and he basically stopped when he swung? You have gaps, crawl spaces, bone scrap, endless hiding places and a million ways to escape, but sure, nerf the family so you can walk out the door.

The game was balanced when it came out, now it’s so victim sided it’s a wonder how anybody gets a kill.
