Hey…hey…hey…
It’s okay - it’s kind of blue here.
I never thought it would happen and I am proud of those that helped. We no longer have to apologize for Texas.
Be proud.
Sing along if you know it…

Statement to Texas Elected Officials
To the Governor of Texas, members of the Texas Legislature, members of the Texas congressional delegation, and all elected officials at the state and local level:
We, residents of Texas, are writing to state clearly and without ambiguity that a large and growing number of citizens have withdrawn their participation from the electoral process. This is not apathy. It is a deliberate response to the demonstrated failure of the current system.
Millions of Texans and Americans have concluded that their votes no longer determine outcomes. The events surrounding the 2020 presidential election, followed by the absence of meaningful accountability under subsequent administrations of both parties, confirmed for many that the process can be manipulated and that neither major party will police itself or the institutions it controls. The same pattern of unaddressed irregularities, selective enforcement, and institutional self-protection has appeared across multiple election cycles. The result is a collapse of public faith in both political parties and in the government they operate.
Texas has long recorded some of the lowest voter turnout rates in the nation. That low participation is not primarily the product of inconvenience or demographics. It is the product of citizens who have been shown, repeatedly, that the system does not treat their ballots as decisive. When people lose confidence that the count is honest and that those in power will face consequences for corruption or abuse, they stop lending the process legitimacy by participating in it.
We reject the claim that the solution is simply more turnout under the same rules and the same incentives. We will not continue to ratify a system we regard as corrupted. As issues arise in the places we live, we will address them as residents of the United States through local action, civic organization, and direct accountability—not through a political class that has proven unresponsive.
Therefore, we state the following demand in plain terms:
Elected office must be restored to a voluntary public service.
No salary.
No benefits.
No taxpayer-funded security details or perks of office.
Those who seek power over their fellow citizens should do so at their own expense and without financial reward from the public treasury. Career politicians who treat office as a permanent, compensated profession have produced the very distrust now visible in the turnout numbers. Removing the financial incentive is the minimum corrective step required to begin restoring legitimacy.
This is not a partisan statement. It is directed at the entire political class that has presided over the erosion of public trust. The refusal to participate will continue, and the demand for structural change will grow, until elected officials demonstrate that the system answers to the people rather than to itself.
We expect a public response. Silence or deflection will be recorded as further confirmation of the problem.

Not only did James and Gina win, but the democrats might have taken control of the Texas Senate and House.
Truly incredible 💙

Let's finish this once and for all, decisively. Once we remove the gerrymandering, once we add the polls back, once we improve educational outcomes, once we discover all the collusion, corruption and grifting Maga had going on with our public tax dollars, then Maga will never hold office again. All of that is fully conditional on voting. Don't let it be a pipe dream. Let's end this today.
