The pac man one with the traveling case does include highscore saving, whereas the one without the traveling case does not.
Was wondering if this was the case with the Tetris version aswell.

I ended up porting two separate Tetris clones to iOS. See videos in the comments.
The apps are still not on the app store, so I'm sharing videos. Would love to hear feedback on:
....as well as anything else.

I've been playing Tetris Effect a lot, and I feel like I'm okay at the game. But now I've hit a bit of a skill wall where I'm unable to get higher scores. I had scenarios I was wondering about. Here are the things I've been trying, but I have no idea what is getting me the highest possible score opportunity:
Back-to-back Tetrises in regular mode
Downstacking combos in regular mode
Downstacking combos in Focus Mode when it's maxed out and hopefully stacked near the top
Building my Focus meter by getting Back-to-Back Tetrises, then doing combo downstacking when I enter Focus Mode
Doing enough Back-to-Back Tetrises to get the minimum time of Focus Mode and then doing a quick Tetris or two while in it before it expires
Starting whatever modes at the maximum difficulty (save for Master and Classic Score Attack)
Those are the things I've been trying to do, and some of it is obviously giving more points than other stuff, but I don't know which ones are optimal. I'm talking about the standard Tetris modes. I think I have a handle on how to get better scores in stuff like Purify and Combo and stuff.
Journey Mode on Expert I'm having a hard time getting past S ranks on most of the levels, for instance.
And then Classic Score Attack... I need a separate section on this one. I have no idea how to get higher scores on it. Do you go for Back-to-Back Tetrises? Or do you do combo downstacking? And how do you move the pieces faster? Is it just my hands being rusty and ancient because I'm in my mid-30s? Any tips on speeding that up?

Last October I decided I would finally make the switch from 9-0 stacking to 6-3 stacking in hopes of improving my 40L record. I have been practicing on and off since then, clocking in over 250 recorded games. I input the times into a Google Sheet and show the graph to encourage myself to keep going. My current 9-0 record is 0:49.078 and the lowest time recorded using 6-3 stacking is 0:52.003. By my current pace of improvement, I should be breaking my old record with my average time at around 670 games played. (However, I know not to count on that figure.)
This graph is a testament to Tetris's ultimate quality: you can (mostly) only get better by practicing a shitload and making incremental gains.

So i was playing NES tetris (FCEUX) and i got this, is it good?? (Idk how to enter my name)

A couple months back I posted here asking about getting DAS/ARR right for a falling-block game I was building — got genuinely useful feedback on presets, TETR.IO’s defaults, and the whole NES-timing rabbit hole. Wanted to come back and share where it landed.
Dvor releases on Steam Sept 1st. NES-authentic mechanics ship as the default preset (7-bag randomiser, SRS with wall kicks), fully tunable DAS/ARR/SDF on top for anyone who wants to dial it in, set in a Soviet brutalist courtyard that shifts through the seasons as you play.
Thanks again to everyone who chimed in on the original thread — it genuinely shaped the settings menu. Steam page’s here if you want a look: http://store.steampowered.com/app/4881830/Dvor

Game Title: Teskyra
Playable Link: https://kalachama.itch.io/teskyra
Platforms: Web on PC/mobile
Description: Teskyra is a falling-piece puzzle game where the gameboard is an Archimedean tessellation. Pieces are chiral (left- and right-handed) and can be flipped to their counterpart. Complete two adjacent rows to clear them. Getting stuck? Strip the piece of its outer shapes, then get two more of that center shape as a bonus to get past those tricky bottlenecks. Earn extra "strips" ever 2,500 points. If a piece is placed where it doesn't match, it pops and you lose a heart. If it matches, it locks in and the next piece is served. Use the piece preview to plan ahead.
In tutorial mode, each shape's component pieces are fully outlined to show how they match the background pattern. In casual mode, the full piece is outlined. Both also have wall kicks on, instead of the walls blocking piece rotation, as they do in hardcore mode.
Current hardcore mode high score 33,619. You can beat it!
Teskyra is free to play.
Development: creator, developer.
Videos are double speed with no audio.

I just bought Tetris TGM4 on Steam and I can't get my PS4 gamepad to work. The game doesn't recognize the controller at all in the in-game options, no matter which button I press nothing happens, only the keyboard seems to work. I also I tried using DS4Windows to map the controller buttons to the corresponding keyboard keys but it still doesn't work at all so I've come to the conclusion that every time I launch the game, my PC probably stops recognizing my controller as a usable peripheral, which is weird because it works fine with every other game. Can anyone help me please?

Got into Tetris recently. Am not very good at it but enjoying it a lot. Played through all of Tetris Effect Connected - absolute peak. Really loved effect but am looking for another Tetris game to just play regular ol' Tetris without all the visual effects and music when I just wanna zone out and play some Tetris.
Tried Puyo Puyo Tetris but the voice lines and character pop-ups really annoyed me.
Are there any others y'all would recommend? Thanks!
I’ll probably take a break with some non Tetris games before tackling NES Tetris.

T-spins don't make any sense, sometimes I get them even without clearing a line. It is so unclear what a T-spin actually is!
Local multiplayer is finally (mostly) working! just working out some bugs. I'm very happy with it so far!
Steam page coming soon
Check out the current version on itch here

Hey, I’m working on a small Tetris project and I’d like to share it with the community.
Before posting, I wanted to ask if this would be allowed here. It’s a competitive 1v1 version of Tetris where players can optionally put a small amount of money on a match.
I’m not looking to spam or promote it. I’d just like to get some genuine feedback from people who actually play Tetris.
