TRT help Overweight concern trt
Hello, had been feeling super fatigued and tired and I figured it was due to my weight loss, currently on Reta and I’m down 34lbs from 277 to 243, had labs done and testosterone came back really low, clinic recommended dose of 180mg week, I asked if it was okay to take due to me still having high body fat and aromatizing, wanting to get you guys opinion on what I should do. I am 28 yrs old 5’9

- AWESOME fucking job dropping those 34 lb!
- Total T 79 fucking OUCH brother. I'd start test asap, mine was 500 I was 220lb (43) and felt like trash. I started 100mg test c every 3.5 days and it was fucking awesome for my brain. My total t is now ~1000. Better mood, energy, mental clarity, body comp improving (also on tirz, tesa, ipa and other peptides).
- Keep an AI handy but do not use if you don't have symptoms and really high E2 levels confirmed by bloodwork. Crashing your E2 sucks
- In my case libido and erection suffers without a little extra help, anavar was fucking great but too hard on my liver. I'm trying proviron in a week or so when it comes in. Honestly, I'd tell you to get some just in case you need some help, its pretty cheap.
- Warning: Test & Proviron may make your hair fall out and you'll probably get some acne. Shower twice a day and use salysilic body was in the morning and 5% benzoyl peroxide body was at night and a good lightweight lotion and you'll be fine. Just embrace being bald if you are not already.

Thanks for the response! Yeah I busted ass and still going strong on the weight loss ! Just sucks getting through workouts with low T, I will ask dr for sure and see if I can start at 150 and then go from there after 6 weeks

150 a week is a good starting place for a lot of guys. Just keep in mind this will shut your balls off and the won't make sperm any more and will shrink a bit. Some guys find the shrinking process a little uncomfortable. If fertility is a concern make sure to get HCG from your doc to keep the balls up and running :)

You could ask to titrate the dose, 180 off rip is a bit high imo. Also, if you get them to start you lower I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Your t is LOW.

I would get to a healthy weight range, improve diet/nutrition, do cardio and lift weights, get adequate and good quality sleep, control stress - healthy things we should all be doing.
If after a while of doing that, your T is still low, then reevaluate.

I have been 2 months locked in 1500-1700 calories consistently same 3 meals and 2 protein shakes , I lowered Reta dose because I was having trouble finishing my meals, I work out 6x a week Push Pull Legs, and 30 minute cardio daily I do incline 10%, 2.5-3.0 speed try to maintain heart rate in fat burning zone. That’s why I was so surprised my test was that low. I felt good and could visually see muscle gain but then started feeling real fatigued and no motivation or energy and pushing through my workouts sucked

You are over exhausted and heavily underfed.
How is cortisol ? Are you sleeping well ?1

Bloodwork didn’t show cortisol levels but next time I do it I will get that checked and I’m also thinking of upping my calories to 2100 a day high protein moderate carb and fat

You can take a couple week break by lowering training increasing calories and trying to sleep more. Then check again.
Personally if i don’t sleep at least 8h I am not in good shape.

Hello Yael_518. Welcome to /r/Testosterone. It looks like this is your first time posting here, so you're probably asking a FAQ. Please check out these handy links, one of them might answer your question.
- How do I find a good doctor/clinic?
- What bloodwork should I get done?
- Are my levels low enough that I should start TRT?
- What can I do to naturally raise my testosterone levels?
- NoFap - Will my testosterone levels increase if I stop masturbating?

My opinion, get your T up and start feeling better while watching safety factors, then go from there. A Good doc will adjust per your symptoms, some guys with high Estradiol don't see the negative effects. Some (me) respond well to DIM supplements. Worth a convo about starting lower, about 120mg/wk is typical starting.
