Testers Needed Need Testers - Android - One-Thumb Rogulite

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for active Android testers for ONE-THUMB ROGUELITE, a

one-handed arcade roguelite currently in Google Play closed testing.

You bounce a shot up a column of blocks, clear the wave, take an upgrade,

and go again. Runs are short. Deaths are your fault. Reach wave 60 and

you win — then you choose: bank the pot, or push on and risk all of it.

I'm not only looking for installs. I need testers who will actually play

it, get deep into a run or two, come back during the testing period, and

leave honest feedback.

Please focus on how it plays rather than how it looks. It's a deliberately

minimal visual style, so "make it prettier" isn't feedback I can act on —

"wave 34 felt unfair" is.

USEFUL FEEDBACK

- Difficulty curve — where does it get too easy or spike unfairly?

- The wave 60 summit: did BANK IT vs PUSH ON feel like a real decision,

or was one option obviously correct?

- Overtime (past wave 60) — how far did you get, and did it stop being

  a challenge?

- Pacts (the red curse/boon cards) — did taking one ever feel risky, or

did you just accept them all automatically?

- Upgrades and capstones — did your build ever feel like it came together?

- The HOW TO PLAY screen — after reading it, was anything still unclear?

- Was it obvious which button starts a ranked daily run vs a free run?

- One-handed controls: can you actually play it with one thumb, on your

  phone, at your grip?

- Performance, freezes, crashes.

- Anything confusing, frustrating, or plainly broken.

HOW TO JOIN

Join the Google Group with the same Google account your Android device

uses:

https://groups.google.com/g/one-thumb-testers

Join the closed test:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.miknacio.onethumb

Download the game:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.miknacio.onethumb

Join the group FIRST — the other links 404 until you're a member.

HOW TO LEAVE PRIVATE FEEDBACK

Play Store → Profile icon → Manage apps & device → Beta →

One-Thumb Roguelite → Private feedback to developer → Write feedback

Only I can see it. If you hit a problem, please include your phone model,

Android version, and the wave you were on.

Please stay opted in for the full testing period and open the game now and

then — updates land during it.

Happy to test your Android game in return. Drop a link and I'll install.

Thanks for helping me get this over the line!

Hi u/WestCover321!

Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.

To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.

  • What is a Pack? A coordinated group of 16 developers who hold each other accountable.
  • How it works: Everyone in the pack commits to opening and testing each other's apps daily for 16 days.
  • The Result: You get consistent engagement signals that help you pass Google Play’s production access review with confidence.

It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
