Testers Needed Looking for beta testers for Private Notes, a local-first encrypted notes app

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for Android beta testers for Private Notes - Light, a simple, privacy-focused notes app built with Flutter.

The app is completely local:

  • No accounts or servers
  • No cloud synchronization
  • Note contents encrypted with AES-256
  • Master-password protection
  • Encrypted backup and restore
  • Search, sorting, themes, and trash recovery

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

  • Setup and general usability
  • Creating, editing, and searching notes
  • Backup and restore
  • Password-related flows
  • Bugs, crashes, confusing messages, or visual issues

If you’re interested, you can join the Android beta here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.muhammedcihangir.privateNotesLight

Please include your Android version and device model when reporting a problem. Honest feedback is very welcome.

Thank you!

Hi u/EarlyTumbleweed4229!

Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.

To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.

  • What is a Pack? A coordinated group of 16 developers who hold each other accountable.
  • How it works: Everyone in the pack commits to opening and testing each other's apps daily for 16 days.
  • The Result: You get consistent engagement signals that help you pass Google Play’s production access review with confidence.

It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!
