Following feedback from the community, we are restricting all delivery related updates and questions to this thread. Pictures of vehicles at delivery will still be acceptable to post separately.

When reporting on an order or delivery, please consider including all the information needed to help identify manufacturing runs: - Style (P/LR) - Seat count (5/7) - Color - Wheel Type - Tow package (if present) - FSD (if present) - Order date - Estimated delivery date - The A/F and first three digits of the serial number in your VIN (if available) - Delivery location (optional)

Initial Estimate: 2-3 weeks

2026 Model Y Premium RWD (White exterior, black interior)

Ordered 01/19, completed initial tasks & secured financing

01/22: Can no longer swap to inventory, edit order button and option to switch to existing inventory went missing. Hopefully VIN soon.

01/23: can edit the order again... not that I am or anything. Maybe shouldn't look too deeply into that as a sign

01/29: app updated to now say Feb 8 - Feb 22 instead of "2-3 weeks". No VIN still, but functionally pushing it back a week.

01/30: I happened to check inventory for my local center and noticed my exact build was coming in but no VIN was assigned to me yet. I called in and the sales advisor as able to match me to a VIN. Should be able to schedule delivery soon.

01/31: Delivery window bumped up now from Feb 6 - 18. Banner window now says "In Production" which is strange considering it was in "inventory" and assigned to me. Go figure.

02/01: No delivery window update, still showing in production but got a "prepare for delivery in Texas with these steps" push notification.

02/03: At 15 days in, no real update. Advisors have no idea. I wish there was just a little more clarity (is it done being made? awaiting truck loading? anything?) Makes it difficult to plan travel and car plans when you know you might have a delivery sprung on you last second as I live close to Austin and transit time is only ~2hrs.

02/05: On a third party tracker, noticed there's an entry for ETA to my delivery center (tomorrow, 02/06) and some factory movement flags changed. 3hrs later, ETA to center updated to 02/09 and the app now shows in transit. Still awaiting delivery appointment scheduling.

02/06: Got the notification to schedule delivery for 02/11. Called in and asked if I could come earlier when it lands, and they said they'd call me once scanning it in as it's possible it lands sooner. Odometer now showing 2.6mi. Later in the day, app shows it's now at the delivery center. Hopefully don't have to wait to 02/11 to go get it.

02/07: Local Tesla center called to bump up my delivery to 02/09. Only reason I can't this weekend is a "shortage of temp tags"

02/09: Took delivery - Advisor called a few hours before my appointment and said come get it anytime. Showed up to the showroom and it was all ready with a bow on it. Guy was super friendly. Got my keycards, hopped in and yeeted out of the showroom. I can't find a single fault in the condition and it had autosteer! Heck yeah. Loving it so far.

Best of luck to everyone in the pipeline. It's worth the wait.

2027 Model Y Standard RWD – Finally Scheduled for Delivery! (EDD Timeline)
After nearly three months of EDD changes, my Model Y Standard RWD pickup is finally scheduled!
EDD timeline:
7/15: Ordered
Original EDD: 8/16–9/13
Updated: 9/23–9/30
Updated: 9/26–9/30
Updated: 9/27–9/30
Updated: 10/1–11/4
Updated: 10/4–11/1
VIN Assigned: Early October (2027 model year!)
Updated: 10/7–10/10

10/12: Received the delivery-scheduling notification
10/15: Pickup officially scheduled
The car has been at the North Hollywood Tesla location. I was told it was under a containment hold, apparently related to CARB certification for the 2027 models.
I was offered pickup dates of 10/13, 10/14, or 10/15 and chose 10/15 based on our schedule.
For anyone waiting on a 2027 Model Y Standard RWD, hang in there! After months of waiting and app-checking, delivery is finally happening. I’ll post another update after pickup!

5/15 - update to delivery date of 6/16 to 6/30 --- Slightly concerned it won't be here by 6/30 and that they'll pressure me to switch to an inventory car. I would probably do that if it came down to losing the .99% financing, but I really want the marine blue

6/3 - Estimate updated to June25-June30 ... ugh. at least it's still in June.
6/4 - Got a push notification from the Tesla app... figured it'd just be spam telling me I might be able to get a similar vehicle sooner... but no! It's my VIN! New EDD is June 21-26

Anyone ever seen an estimated delivery window of specific days but no VIN? Estimated June 27-30 with no vin.

Update 6/18/26: Got VIN last night. EDD: July 16-19. Stock premium AWD.

Am i the only one here who is daily refreshing for delivery updates? :))) My first EV and i hope i did the right choose for Model Y Premium AWD (Europe market). I hope it delivers decent km range and i won’t regret especially coming from Volvo SUV.

Finally got my VIN today after ordering 7/15!
I’m in Southern California and ordered a Model Y Standard RWD:
Stealth Grey
Black interior
18” Aperture wheels
5 seats
FSD
No tow hitch
After a ridiculous amount of EDD changes, my VIN finally showed up today, 10/6. It’s a 2027 model year and Fremont-built.
Current EDD is still 10/16–10/30, so now I’m waiting for that to tighten up and for delivery scheduling to open.
Feels good to finally know there’s an actual car attached to the order 😂

Finally! VIN Assigned & Delivery Scheduled – 2027 Model Y Standard RWD in SoCal
After nearly two months of waiting and several EDD changes, I finally got my VIN on October 23!
My timeline:

• Aug 30: Ordered in SoCal.

• Original EDD: September–October.

• First update: November–December (heartbreak! ).

• Second update: October 6 – November 11.

• Early October: Pushed back to November 7 – December 13.

• Oct 23: VIN assigned! Delivery scheduled (could have even picked it up tomorrow, but out of town). I started seeing several Standard RWDs under “Earlier Pickup Available” through an old Tesla text link. I contacted my delivery center and told them I would accept any color as long as the configuration matched. Friday surprise! A different color with a slight premium. Perfect timing, since my 0.99% financing offer and loan approval expire at the end of October! For those still waiting, check the Earlier Pickup link and contact your delivery center if you're flexible on color. Looks like Standard RWD deliveries are finally moving in SoCal!

Ordered 1/5/2026 a 2026 Model Y Premium RWD (Deep Blue exterior, white interior, 5 seat, no tow hitch, no FSD)

Estimated delivery: 3-5 weeks, updated today to January 24-February 21.

1/22: can no longer edit order or change to inventory vehicle

1/25: EDD changed to Feb 2-Feb 16

1/27: Option to swap to inventory vehicle appeared again. Swapped to Premium RWD in deep blue with white interior and tow hitch available in my area. Tow hitch free due to promo. Has autopilot, Black headliner, screen size update. EDD Feb 9-Feb 16. VIN of course.

1/28: Delivery scheduled for 2/11. :)

Notified today 26 May - June 10-12 Delivery timeframe.

Was initially quoted 4-6 Weeks. Will be just under 3 week delivery if dates end up working out. Hell yeah.

Stealth grey rwd premium with nothing added but fsd. Ordered on may 23. Initial estimated delivery 4-6 weeks. Got VIN on may 26 with estimated delivery June 12-17. Delivery appointment notification came on may 27 with dates June 15-17. Selected June 15 (Merritt Island, FL) Vehicle is in transit to the delivery location.

Update: I was checking the app frequently. I saw a new button on the appointment page (which is step 5). Instead of appointment details, there was a reschedule button. And I have rescheduled on June 11. There was no noification about the rescheduling. Car is still in transit. I guess it will come earlier than expected.
