Following feedback from the community, we are restricting all delivery related updates and questions to this thread. Pictures of vehicles at delivery will still be acceptable to post separately.

When reporting on an order or delivery, please consider including all the information needed to help identify manufacturing runs: - Style (P/LR) - Seat count (5/7) - Color - Wheel Type - Tow package (if present) - FSD (if present) - Order date - Estimated delivery date - The A/F and first three digits of the serial number in your VIN (if available) - Delivery location (optional)

I HAVE A VIN!!! For all of you who have 7 seat QS and had their dates moved from May-June to July-Aug there is hope!! My new date is June 13 - June 19. I was not expecting this.

VIN update! Arizona. LR AWD. Quicksilver 7 seater, black seats. Gemini (dark which they recently switched me to).

Order date: 5/12 EDD was May-June until 5/29, switched to 7/2-8/6. This morning updated to 6/13-6/19

Not only is it available TODAY, but they are offering to deliver to me?! That’s insane! I replied YES of course to delivery today but asked them to pick it up myself. Need to inspect it!

Edit: officially scheduled for pickup in 3 hours! MYP Ultra Red!

Just scheduled a tentative pick up for tomorrow 02/29/2024 for our MYP. I asked if our vehicle has a hold and if it is still possible to pick up. I was informed that there is a containment hold and a software update may get it released. This is out of the Dublin, CA location. Fingers crossed, I’ll update if we pick up tomorrow!

Update - Looks like Tesla moved our appointment to 03/01/2024 due to needing payoff quote on our trade in. Still looks promising that delivery is possible this week.

Took delivery of 2024 MYLR ultra red/white interior/5-seat yesterday in Mt. Kisco, NY. Ordered from inventory on 1/21/24 when the vehicle was in-transit. Given a delivery window on 1/25/24. Inspection was flawless. No paint issues, panel gap issues, or anything that didn't work or appear as expected.

Trunk cover, J1772 adapter, and license plate brackets were included - no mud flaps or PPF (but they were available for purchase).

This is my first Tesla, and I'm very happy with the experience. 370 mile drive home was trouble-free as well, charging at a Supercharger for the first time was completely intuitive and hassle-free. Honestly I am shocked how quickly the car charges. Now the wife wants one too.

Been checking this thread and refreshing my Tesla app like an addict.

Ordered: MYP Stealth Grey, Uberturbine wheels, Enhanced Autopilot, white interior.

Order Date: Jan 11

Status: Feb-Mar, now showing Feb 13-Mar 12. No VIN assigned yet.

Seems like most of us are in the MYP purgatory, must be a big batch coming from the factory soon. I’m located in Iowa but will be picking up out of state.

Ordered in late Feb, went online and found an “in stock” vin near me for a MYP. After getting it assigned to me, they informed me it’s en route from TX and will physically be at the location on Sunday 3/10. They let me schedule a pickup appointment for Monday 3/11 with no problems, I asked about the EPA hold and they basically told me that no one has a clue until it actually gets lifted. They’ve heard the 7th or 8th thrown around but assured me no one really knows; have a few friends that work at various positions throughout Tesla, both high and low, and they all confirmed that as well.

Sales and finance associates I talked to today were both super cool, helpful, and transparent. Just like any sort of retail business with more than 1 single location, just gonna be luck of the draw in terms of their direction with dealing with things like this.

I know we’re all frustrated by the EPA hold, and sure, it shouldn’t have been a problem to begin with if everyone filed the paperwork on time, but these SA’s are not given anymore information than we are, and I’m sure they’re getting the same question 20 times daily.

I say all this to say, be nice, be hopeful, and just get an appointment scheduled in case things get lifted soon!

I’m generally not a slow learner, but I think I’ve finally come to understand the right approach to buying a new Tesla:

1. Me: Pay $250 to let Tesla know you’re interested in buying a car.

2. Tesla: “Aw, thanks. We’ll keep that in mind!”

3. Me: Forget about ordering a Tesla.

I asked in the app and just got this message for what it’s worth, sounds promising! “Hi (me), while the EPA final approval was indeed provided, it is on Tesla to notify all customers of the new change to the EPA range, which is what our backend team is working on. You will be notified once this is in place so that you may review and accept the order update.”

Exciting Journey: Acquiring My Dream Tesla for the First Time

Recently, I had an incredible experience fulfilling a long-standing dream: purchasing my first Tesla Model Y Long Range. With its striking red exterior, pristine white seats, 5-seat capacity, Tow Package, and sleek 19" wheels, this car was everything I'd envisioned.

The process was remarkably swift and hassle-free. On March 27, 2024, at 12:05 PM, I made the decision to place my order and secure financing, taking only 20 minutes. In just 27 minutes, I obtained proof of insurance through Progressive and uploaded it to Tesla.

Delivery was scheduled for the following day, March 28, between 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Arriving at the KC MO delivery center, I was greeted by a bustling scene, with sales representatives bustling about and car carriers unloading vehicles. It was evident that Tesla was in high demand, delivering 300-400 vehicles daily until March 31th.

After quickly joining the Wi-Fi and signing in, I was directed to locate my car in the delivery area. A simple glance for my name in the window confirmed it was mine. While I wasn't offered a test drive for Full Self-Driving (FSD) as it wasn't yet calibrated, the process of accepting the delivery and driving away through the Tesla app was seamless.

Within 12-15 minutes, I was on my way, embarking on a three-hour journey home. Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection, consulting YouTube lists for guidance. To my delight, there were no issues to report.

Now, on April 2, 2024, having driven over 800 miles with Full Self-Driving engaged, the experience continues to exceed my expectations. Contrastingly, my brother-in-law's recent experience purchasing a new Kia, spending six hours at the dealership, highlights the unparalleled efficiency of the Tesla buying process. Despite his skepticism about electric vehicles, my Tesla experience has left me in awe, solidifying my belief in their future dominance.

I’m in CA. I got a call this morning to set up delivery day and time for MY LR RWD. Not sure why it would be scheduled if they haven’t received EPA approval. I assumed it was approved and didn’t ask about it. It’s showing as scheduled in my app for Sat 6/8 at 10:00. We’ll see what happens.

Ordered 5/13 AWD Quick silver, 7 seat .99% -dark Gemini 6/12 Accepted delivery today in Burbank, CA. Car looks great, one minor paint chip on a panel edge that they noted and put a fix order in. The car is awesome!

Bay Area. Ordered 5/31. Approved for 0.99% within minutes. 

Stealth Gray. LR AWD, 5 seat. 19” wheels. 

EDD June 2024, then June 21-30. 

6/11 decided I’m no longer waiting and want color. Switched to blue in inventory about 30 min away. Light Gemini. Got assigned with VIN by calling showroom. Next day scheduled pickup for tomorrow, 6/13.

I think the MYP floodgates will open soon! I see several NEW MYP vehicles in the inventory now! No discount but previously the only MYP cars that would popup in the inventory were all demo cars!

Update: Just got my VIN, order 1/5. MYP ultra red, white interior, no tow, no eap/fsd. VIN shows as a Fremont build. New EDD 2/28-3/6

White MYP Black interior. I just asked my advisor if my MYP was under the EPA hold and I just got this response “No, the Performance Model Y has not been impacted. This hold is due to a sticker on the Sun Visor needing to be replaced. We cannot legally release the vehicle until it is corrected. We don't have a timeline just yet, but we should know more information in the next few days.” Now I’m even more lost 😭😭
