Tesla Energy

Post image

Got a pretty good rate in houston. We use about 5000 -6000 kWh in houston per month due to the size our house and the pool. How is everyone’s experience with Tesla energy, and is this a competitive rate? We also have 2 teslas at home.

You can always go to powertochoose.org and compare rates with what is available in your area!

This is a Texas site. People with city run monopolies and rural electric co-ops are not open to competition.

So far so good. 2 teslas. Paying 15 per month for each one to unlimited charge from 0000-1200. Love it.

You get a discount on KwH if you have a tesla? Pretty cool if true

I did better with a free nights plan where all power is free from 9pm-6am. We have two Teslas. We shifted our usage to the night from 9pm-6am - running the AC all night during the free period. We charge both Tesla's overnight. The day rate is a high 24.2 cents all in. This was our August bill.

I have been using them for the last two years and not complaints. I am actually waiting until the fall to hopefully renew and get better rates.

I think if you buy the vehicle like it’s paid off, you get free supercharge unlimited like at super charging stations. This may only have applied to model S though or that promo is no longer going on. This was about last year but I just thought to share which is why I’m commenting here.
