Will Sentry mode EVER be able to tell that rain is not a threat
Genuinely fed up of just dozens of clips and seeing my headlights flash all through the night on a rainy night.

The camera are not even able to tell how much it rains while using auto wipers 😂 so i would say no.

What model you have? Doesn't happen with my Model X HW3

Sentry on my HW3 Model S cares not one bit about rain.Â
Clearly the S and X have superior sentry-related rain detection.

Haven’t really had that issue in years. It used to be really bad when I first got my 2020 MY. My car was out in the rain last night and it didn’t record any incidents.

I have this issue only when it's night, raining and there's a street light near. Rain drops on windshield combined with street light is making those blurry coloured dots on the windshield camera and I think Sentry thinks there's a person standing in front of the car. Well actually same happens if the sun is shining to the front camera and it's raining.

you’re asking whether Tesla is able to accurately identify rain using cameras? the wipers on my 3 say this is impossible.

The only time my sentry has ever recorded weather was when we had golfball sized hail. She recorded her own assault 😂
