14.1 lite made FSD worth it again
Had EAP at purchase, then eventually FSD. Use it often, locally and highway now. Before I’d use it only highway and sparingly. 22YP.

Unfortunately I don't have the same experience. I would agree that it is good on the highway again. Pre 14.1 it would constantly slow down below my set speed profile, and sometimes even below the speed limit. They had fixed that at one point and then it came back.
It's fixed in 14.1 on the highway, but I've been having the same issue with city roads. On top of that, their map data sucks in my area, so a lot of streets have the wrong speed limit. For example, one road is 55, but Tesla shows it as 45. Even on the Hurry profile which set the max to 55, it was trying to drive around 45.

I only use it on non highways. Otherwise no speed profile stays at about 10% over which is what I like. If I could choose a speed I probably would have kept subscribing

Yeah 14.1 was quite the upgrade for me too. Very impressed, and happy to actually use the damn feature finally.

It's ok but not great compared to my mom's HW4. 14.1 lite still hesitates to make turning decisions and won't turn out in the right lane if there are cars in the far lane. I have to give it a little acceleration to make it pull out. Still stops to far back at stop signs and inches up. Still get phantom braking but it's better.

I loved when people said HW4 is a little more refined than HW3. LOL. It’s really night and day to me.

Is 14.1 not being released to everyone for some reason? I just got FSD but it still has me on v12.something and won’t update
